Calling all quality Hip Hop artists!!!
NJC is currently hosting a compilation showcasing some of the illest lyricists, beat smiths, and producers, the world wide Hip Hop community has to offer, entitled:
"NJC Presents: Life Support, Revival of the Emcee"
Most people hosting compilations/mixtapes these days wanna play the fame game and charge artists per slot on their projects, with us this is not the case! The sole purpose of this project is to extend the reach and influence of our underground family within in the Hip Hop community, while assuring hardcore Hip Hop fans that the real art of emceeing is far from dead!
"NJC Presents: Life Support, Revival of the Emcee" is a non-profit project being put together for the greater good of the world wide Hip Hop community we represent, by helping artists of all types potentially make some cash while expanding their fan base. The compilation will be an internet based release given away as a free download to all who desire to revel in the sweet, almost lost sound of true Hip Hop artists, pushing the idea that all artists alike will be receiving free promotion/exposure at high volume to help generate themselves sales (such as beats, band CDs, merchandise, and so on).
Also included will be a full length instrumental album packed with content from various individuals, so there's a little something extra tossed in for emcees and DJs as well.
Full credits and contact information for all artists who submit work will be provided within the compilation package so listeners will be able to contact emcees/producers/beat smiths for their services. This project is being put together strictly for promotional purposes (on all ends), and for the love of our family/culture, so NO we will not pay you for your tracks (and you don't have to pay to be featured). Artists should be submitting content for the projects promotional value. Submissions will be cut after the second week in December, and the compilation will be released the same week as New Years Eve.
Submissions at this time include:
Instrumentals Completed Tracks (Solo, Group, or DJ efforts) Mixing Services Incomplete Tracks (Space left open for Collaboration)
Well, that's a lot of fuckin info. But if you want to be a part of it, don't hesitate to shoot 'em an email or a message on the myspace!

Death of a Juggalo: It always saddens me to report on this, but a Juggalo named Brayden Beddoes was tragically killed at work this past Sunday night working road construction. An erratic driver plowed through teh barricades and hit him. He was only 20 years old.
You can see the full story Right Here. To send your thoughts and condolences, drop a line to Burke Beddoes at twiztidscrub@yahoo.com. May Brayden rest in peace.
Juggalo Missing in Washington: Weighmon shot us a pic and some info about a Juggalo named Xandrew who's been missing since July. He's from Kitsap County, WA, and his pic and info are below:

Juggalo Mention on G4TV: This was definitely a random Juggalo mention, but a ninja named DarkEclipse was watching X Play on G4TV, and the reporter made a joke mentioning Juggalos at the 2:20 Mark. If you want to see it, here's the vid:
GOD damn i was listening to K.O.D. and fuck king gordys part in horns is just fucking crazy i cant belive that shit was on there.....I know the album was supposed to be dark but that was crazy....Do you guys think that saying that took shit to far or does it just bring shock value to the album?
BFK, i mean i guess if stuff like that shocks you, then you may consider it over the line. But I think no matter what your spiritual beliefs are, Gordy was doing that to get a rise out of people. Most likely, it'll work. Though I don't know what kind of effect it will have on his career for people who haven't heard him before.
You know what pisses me off??? The GTA4 expansions are only available on Xbox 360. I guess we PS3 owners are just a bunch of irrelevant losers that R* won't invest in now. Meh what can I say? Most developers don't like the hardware in the PS3 anyways cause it's harder to develop on.sigh
