Boondox tweet leads to speculation…

Alright folks, here’s something that is sure to lead to speculative thoughts across the Juggalo nation.  There have been hints at big news breaking by Boondox a few times over the past several months.  He even mentioned breaking the news exclusively to us via his twitter (@BDX_Skarcrow), but nothing has come of that…yet.  So here’s a tweet that Boondox sent out tonight:

Immediately ninjas started speculating that Boondox is leaving Psychopathic Records, though nothing has ever been said about it.  One other thing that points in that direction though is the new Boondox “Underground Resurrection” tour that we posted about.  They are looking to book dates from July – September.  Maybe that’s with the understanding that you wouldn’t be able to get him while the Gathering of the Juggalos is happening, but who knows?  We’d be interested to hear your thoughts, so leave them below!

Whatever this big announcement is. It’ll make both those who like him and those who hate him happy none the less. If he goes I’m sure he’ll continue to have a great relationship with the psy crew (much like AMB do). If he stays than same as it ever was. Dude has a good flow. I personally didn’t feel the whole “country boy” gimmick but I will give him where credit is due. He does have a great flow and no matter what I’ll be the first fam to wish him the best on whatver this decision leads him to afterwards because it’s the right thing to do and it’s the respectful thing to do. little irrelevant information but on Boondox’s last tour he made a stop at Harpos in Detroit, and last i know Psychopathic, as a business, does not do shows at that venue. last couple shows they did their got fucked up somehow and they vowed to never do a show there again, idk

but anyways, i dont know if y’all remember the “lost interview” from J-10 that FLH did last october, he states that all artists on psychopathic besides Twiztid aren’t actually SIGNED to PSY. they each have individual distribution deals with each artist…ABK has Native Funk…Blaze has Colton Industries…and Boondox has whatever his company is.

gotta realize that at any moment any of these artists can walk away and say “Fuck Psychopathic! (business wise)” and take the gimmick with them, logos, music, everything. that would mean though that they would have to pay to produce their own merch, and either find a new distribution label or do it themselves.

and artists on Psychopathic obviously fund their own tours, if you havent noticed- The only tours that get really good plugs and promotions are the tours that have either ICP or Twiztid on the label,,,everyone else is kinda on their own.

Only a handful of artist post-psy has gotten some form of success. AMB wounded up on a tour in 2007 with Game, Esham had at least one record post-psy that charted, and the speculation that Motown Rage joined Hellcat (Razor Ray was the touring guitarist for the Matt Freeman solo project “Devil’s Brigade”). So there would be some light at the end of the tunnel. Again if he goes I’ll wish him nothing but the best because that’s the respectful thing to do.

Well I can say from a meeting him as well what I know about his music influences from a long time friend of mine who used to work alot of “Extra Hours” at Psychopathic, he seems to want to do more than just rap. Keep in mind he played in alot of metal bands when he was younger too. Wouldn’t be surprised at some point he would wanna give that another try He even told me when asked that he likes Iced Earth as Well s Dream Theater….need I say more. Being on Psychopathic may restrict him.

I’m so sick of all the haters on here towards psychopathics success. Shut up already, they worked their asses off to get were they are at, and that’s an understatement, so stop hating and start congradulating DAMN! And AMB was and STILL IS THE SHIT. The only reason they were off psy is cause they weren’t selling enough records cause alot of the juggalos were haters and didn’t want to see them rise to success. Put yourself in their shoes for one minute. What if you worked your ass off to become a part of psy officially, then you win. And then all the sudden majority of the family that you repped with for years, turned on you. All it was, was jealousy. Family supports one another, not put them down. Especially juggalos. What happened to the loyal family? I’ve been down since late 1999, and have NEVER seen it this bad. EVER!
