Twiztid’s AbominationZ Tour Review By Gotham-News.com

Keven Skinner from Gotham-News.com wrote a review for Twiztid’s AbominationZ tour stop on September 21st in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada. This review is relatively short but to the point and makes for a decent read. You can check out part of the review below.

Review From Gotham-news.com:

Horrorcore rap icons Twiztid have invaded Canada for the first time and they have hit it hard, bringing one of the most energetic and entertaining live shows I’ve ever seen. Jamie Madrox and Monoxide played Studio 54 in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada September 21st with opening acts Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Aqualeo and a handful of other rising hip hop talents.

Even though Twiztid and Blaze recently left longtime label Psychopathic Records (on good terms I might add), they know their fanbase will always be comprised strongly of Juggalos who have been following their music for over a decade. Just waiting in line-up for the concert I was witness to a plethora of “Whoop Whoops”, makeup, weed smoke and dudes passing out pills. Even though Studio 54 is a small club and the crowd of what looked like maybe a 100 or so fans would be indicative of a failure — the presence in that venue coinciding with the noise in no way reflected the numbers. Twiztid delivered one of the most memorable shows I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen them all.

Out of the opening acts I have to give props to local artist Sin-sane for taking a razorblade mid-performance and proceeding to slice various sections of his arms, face and chest. I think I was in mid-tweet during the shock when I looked up to see blood literally covering all of his flesh. It was absolutely terrifying. After the show, Sin-sane was greeting fans who would take turns rubbing the rapper’s blood all over themselves. You don’t see that sort of s*** in movies anymore because even movies don’t think people would believe that type of thing happens in real life. I would write it off as simply a gimmick, but you know what? The music was tight and the performance was great. Good job you crazy bastard.
