We already know that The Gathering of the Juggalos most likely won’t be in Colorado as Psychopathic Records has already released the news.
Westword.com have post up a quick lil’ article/interview with J-Webb where they weren’t able to get any details.
When asked about why things didn’t work out in Denver, J-Webb responded:
“Nah, I can’t talk about it on the record right now. Even *I* don’t know the full story on what’s going on or what locations are being looked at.”

Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering of the Juggalos Backs Out of Denver
Last year, it was widely reported that Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering of the Juggalos would take place in Denver. Not so.
“We couldn’t find a location in Colorado that would work for the Gathering,” Jason Webber of Psychopathic Records e-mailed Westword on March 13. “We should be announcing a final location later this week.”
When asked for an interview about why Denver’s copious venues didn’t work out, Webber replied: “Nah, I can’t talk about it on the record right now. Even *I* don’t know the full story on what’s going on or what locations are being looked at.”
Historically, the event has taken place throughout the Midwest. Many communities have pushed back on the festival coming to town, as juggalos, the devout followers of ICP, have been listed by the FBI as a gang, a designation they fought in court.

I understand the difference but to most people it is just semantics. Denver equates to Colorado. Even if you replace the “Denver”s with “Colorado”s… the story is the same. No suitable venue in the state will book this. ICP can’t book any venue in the state for a gig, let alone GOTJ. They haven’t played Colorado in many years. This was a pipe-dream from the get-go… and they have been hyping a CO. GOTJ for like 16 years now. Someday maybe.
