Violent J and Tech N9ne Clear the Air about ICP’s Hot97 Interview

Tonight on The Juggalo Show, Violent JJumpsteady and KG really covered a lot of topics surrounding the Juggalo world and Psychopathic Records. One thing definitely worth mentioning is that Violent J DID speak a lot on Tech N9ne and what was originally said on ICP’s Hot97 interview.

Violent J said that he regretted speaking on Tech so much in the interview to the point where a lot of ninjas thought there was beef. One of those factors was Tech’s verse on the new Stevie Stone track “Eat II” which was written the day that Tech saw the ICP interview on Hot 97. The way ICP see’s it though, Tech was just speaking his mind on that track. He also mentioned that when Tech didn’t give the props to Juggalos like J thought he would have, it probably wasn’t on his mind at that moment.

J also wanted to reiterate what was originally said on the interview; that Tech N9ne was never a Psychopathic Records product even though some ninjas think he was and that he was not inspired by ICP in any way.

After it was all said and done though, J said everything is all good with Tech. He unfortunately won’t be playing the Juggalo March due to his new contract with Paradigm which has him playing Canada in September but he has every intention of rockin’ that Juggalo March cypher.

For those of you looking for the announcement that Tech is (or isn’t) playing The Gathering of the Juggalos this year, J said that Tech should be there but that it’s not yet set in stone. I guess we’ll just have to wait for that bomb-ass Gathering infomercial to drop.

Sounds like the whole Tech beef was just gossip… I fell for it. But only because everything is going to shit so far this 17’in year, & wouldnt surprise me if there was more drama. Unless J cant afford another lost connection and thats whats up w all this. But who really fucking knows. Whatever… Glad theres no hate there.

All things that I had been saying to those fools crying beef. So the way I see it, Juggalos owe me an apology. One written, one verbal. And make sure that shit is notarized.

You know…with all the drama going on and everybody turning their backs on J, I think it is time for Psy to sign some new artists. There are so many artists out there these days that people rarely talk about who have been doing it for years and have been making big moves.

Take Darks Hills Gang (David Dbrain & Crazy Tha Cobra) for example…they dropped out of the Underground Psychos contest and now they are making really dope music, doing shows with artists like Lil Wyte, producing their own music videos and graphic design work…they are dope! These talented guys should be the next group they sign, because there is a HUGE void without Twiztid and they need another duo in my opinion. Plus, Cobra wrestled on the indies in the Memphis area so he could be on JCW.

Also, One Man Kru…this dude is a fucking legend in the underground that no one ever talks about. Dude has sold thousands of albums to people in over 60 different countries, performed in Japan, Korea and Hawaii, collaborated with Esham, V Sinizter, Mike P and Fritz The Cat. Has a wrestling DVD coming out featuring commentary by Kevin Gill. He’s a wrestled all over the world including in JCW so he would fit right in with Psychopathic in my opinion.

My point is that there are so many guys (and girls) out there that are on the cusp of being the next big thing in the underground and I think it is time that people stop focusing so much on older artists beefing and bickering about stupid shit and focus more on what else is going on these days. Because the future is looking pretty fucking bright.
