Press Release for Twiztid’s Astronomicon Pop Culture Convention

They’ve already announced special guests including Kane Hodder, Mick Foley, and Sid Haig.

In the press release you’re about to read, it doesn’t say anything about any concerts or other details, but the convention is still in its very early stages.  You can already purchase your tickets though through Astronomicon.com.

Everyone’s favorite demented duo, 12x Billboard chart-topping rappers TWIZTID, will take part in their biggest venture yet early next year. TWIZTID are pleased to announce their very own pop culture convention! The inaugural Astronomicon will take place from February 9-11, 2018 just outside of the duo’s native Detroit at the Wyndham Garden Sterling Heights in Michigan. The event will feature special appearances by professional wrestling legend Mick Foley, horror icon Sid Haig, Friday the 13th star Kane Hodder and many more surprise guests TBA!

One day passes start at just $25. Don’t hesitate to get your tickets soon – this event will most likely sell out quickly! Information on tickets, lodging, VIP options, vendors and more can be located at www.astronomicon.com.

TWIZTID says: “We’ve always said if we did a convention it would be this way and that way… and it’s finally all serious now and this is actually happening! We are excited out of this world – pardon the pun but we feel strongly that we can and will turn this into an annual event that will become a staple in entertainment amongst the convention scene. Growing up as nerdies we’ve attended everything from Comic Cons to Star Trek Conventions so we know what we, as nerdies, want this to be.”

TWIZTID are gearing up for a very busy summer, with more event announcements coming soon. Wasting no time in getting started, Majik Ninja Entertainment kicked things off by releasing a new track and video, “Outlined In Chalk”. The track features verses from the entire MNE family, including TWIZTID, Blaze, G-Mo Skee, Lex the Hex Master, The R.O.C., Young Wicked and Gorilla Voltage. MNE stands above the rest by doing what they do best – steadily releasing fresh, killer material for their fans. Check out “Outlined In Chalk” here:

Additionally, TWIZTID have been featured in 101 WRIF Detroit’s brand new comic book. Hipsters are invading Detriot, and only the WRIF Rock Girl can save their fair city! The comic book is just $5 and all proceeds from the purchase of the book go to Autism Awareness. Pre-order via http://wrif.com/wrif-comic-book-pre-order-now/.

Make sure to catch TWIZTID on the road now with the “Psychomania Tour”! Each show will feature a brand new set by TWIZTID (accented by drummer extraordinaire Drayven) featuring new tracks and classic favorites. “TWIZTID – the cult-phenom brainchild of diabolical duo Jamie Madrox and Monoxide”

Pretty sure Violent J is the one who convinced these two to keep rapping after ROC quit HOK and gave them the name Twiztid…

BTW a good con needs more than just two Horror icons and a wrestler. I’m sure there will be lots of rip off pop culture merch available.

You may want to give it a chance before judging this thing. I am a bit skeptical as well but I am eager to see how it turns out nonetheless. And as VJ did play the role of the skeeter that launched Twiztid into their current career, I think the brain child reference was to the siamese twin concept.
Think about when Venom fuses with Carnage.

Ain’t no body going to that dumpster fire.

Lex and Gorilla Voltage been talking greasy on the slick about
not getting enough duckets. Maybe this will raise enough capitol
to secure them on the label, Probably not.

anyway, ultra-hater-ass bullshit pipsqueak chatter aside… im interested to see what comes of this. plenty of time to prep, so if it shapes up properly, i might just make my way up there for it.
… but not if its just gonna be a bunch of disgruntled ex-juggalos talkin shit on each other all weekend, though. fuck that noise.

Its really funny that there are a ton of dumbasses that talk shit on Twiztid cuz they left a failing label, and when someone gets irritated at seeing these fucking losers post their loser shit opinions, then they get attacked too. Toxic ass community! The juggalo world is really devolving into a fucking cult with a clear cult leader and away from family. It’s sad.
Do these motherfuckers even know what a juggalo is??? Cuz trust me, you dont have to ride ICPs cocks to be a juggalo. You dont have to ride Twiztids either. Get over your hate or just STFU, dont nobody wanna hear a bunch of negative ass bitches!
