Moonshine Bandits send fans a message from Twiztid’s Mostasteless Tour

Our homies from the Moonshine Bandits, who we’ll be seeing tonight at Twiztid‘s Mostasteless tour in Fort Worth, TX, have put out an email blast talking about life on the road for this tour.  They mention that it was a risk to bring their brand of hip hop to perform in front of Juggalos, but that’s what their career has been all about.

They also have a quick 48 second video montage of clips from the road.  The email blast/letter is a quick read, and you can check it along with all of the remaining tour dates below:

Rolling Stone Magazine and the Road

Wasup Everyone!

We just rolled into Oklahoma for a show tonight. It’s been a great run so far and we are just about halfway done. Living on a bus with a crew of 7 and enjoying our truckstop showers along the way. We are doing about 5 shows a week, which has been a steady grind.

As most of you know, we took this tour with Twiztid knowing that their fan base is nothing like ours. 2 totally different styles of music, but its still the same party! Of course it was a risk, but we have built our entire career on risk taking “only regret is a risk we don’t take…” We are proud that our music can crossover so many genres and still be accepted by fans that have never even heard of us . You will see in the video above that everyone is having a kickass time and it proves that music has no boundaries!

Last week, Rolling Stones Magazine Interviewed us. They flew out to Georgia to do a photoshoot and discuss our brand of music and where we came from. We were excited to share how our Central Valley West Coast brand of Rebel music originated and how our lyrical content has been consistent since the beginning (circa 99′). We never had TV or Radio exposure so we were stoked to have a platform of this magnitude willing to write about something we have worked so long and hard for. We explained to them that our fan base (shiner nation family) was built on a grass roots campaign from Touring across America and doing things “our way”.

Check out the “Life on the Road” Part 1 Behind the Scenes Video above… We also released a new song with Twiztid called “In The Moonlight”, available on itunes.

We are gearing up for the next few days in Texas and the rest of the US, then eventually making our way to Canada! Our Canadian Shiners have been so good to us. They have traveled to so many of our shows in the United States and patiently waited for us to make it to Canada! Our Canadian VIP Bus Meet and Greets are already Sold Out, so We know they are ready for us!

Just listened to a few of their songs. Pretty corny stuff. I would rather it just be MNE artists than this reject country rap.
