Got it. Great album, but everyone knows that!
I will say, I was sold on the description stating that it sounds more crisp and fresh and cleaner. I think it was said that you may hear little bits that you never noticed before.
I didnt notice it sounding any different at all. Marketing I guess. And damnit the shit worked on me. Same exact. I listened in the system in my truck, my good headphones, the home stereo… Nada. Maybe im fuckin gettin old or some shit but I dont hear it soundin crisper or cleaner or anything. Sounds like I bought the same CD again!

It definitely sounds better than my rubbed out letterin OG krusty cassette I still got with tissue still stuffed in the top to make copies for my homies back in the day.

Depends on the source material. Youd need at least a 4 track master to make a any difference in the quality, and i think they recorded on 4 track ADATs then so minimal is probably a best case scenario i guess.
Island mightve had a hand in this coming out and ICP just made the best they could of it, i dunno. Island put out that BS Jugganaughts CD and the Riddlebox vinyl i picked up a while back doesnt even have a hatchetman on it. Maybe it is just marketing, who knows.
The DVD Audio version of Shangri La does sound amazingly different, i love that one. Ill wait for a sale to pick this up considering i own 2/3 of it already.
