Since I’m fresh back from Fright Fest and Hallowicked, I’ve got a few things to post about that have fallen through the cracks. One of them is an interview that WRIF.com conducted with Twiztid! They have an hour-long podcast called Radio Chatter and had them in on Halloween day!
In this episode, the host speaks on his experience at Fright Fest in Detroit, talks horror movies, a new rock/rap record by Twiztid, their writing process, and lots more! Check out the description below:
From WRIF.com:
Happy Halloween! Today it’s Jamie Madrox and Monoxide from Twiztid. If you’ve never seen or heard these guys do yourself a favor and check them out. These guys are so kick-ass! This interview is one of the funnest I’ve had the pleasure to do.
We talked about horror movies, scary records, the comic book they have coming out, all that’s gone on in 2017 and their upcoming plans including a new rock/rap record. You might be surprised to learn that they actually do keep their kids in check when it comes to listening to their music. They talk about the writing process, the friendship these guys have had for over 3 decades, how they turned down Woodstock 99, whether they’d like to go mainstream or not, the Detroit music scene including Kid Rock and Eminem, and tons more. A special thanks to George Vlahakis for setting this up and treating me so great.
This conversation has very NSFW language. Enjoy!
Now listen to it for yourself:

LOL they say they want to appeal to their fans, that’s why they’re making a new rock album (as if we didn’t already hear a shit ton of rock music from them on there past few recent ones) but yet they aren’t willing to appeal to the other 99.9% of their fan base (the Juggalos) by going to the March or by showing family love At the gathering & not to mention by dissing that majority of their fan base by calling them stupid and assholes for believing everything they hear from j.

LMFAO, they gave more love to kid rock than ICP, And the one time mono did Give a tiny shout out give a tiny shout out to ICP, it sounded as if he had a gun pointed to his head and that the words were struggling to come out of his mouth.

Ah goddamnit. The rock shit is why I haven’t been feeling the last couple of Twiztid albums at all. Wish they would step away from that.
