Jason Mewes and Brian O’Halloran Announced for Astronomicon; Sid Haig Cancels All February Appearances [Details Inside]

We are only TWO DAYS AWAY from the inaugural pop culture event: Astronomicon!  There have been some last-minute lineup changes as of last night, so first, I’ll tell you about a little staleness.

It seems as though Sid Haig who plays Captain Spaulding on the silver screen has had to not only cancel his appearance at Astronomicon, but ALL February appearances due to professional obligations. That also means that he will not be conducting the wedding of our homie Andy Sherman, and any others that were scheduled this weekend.  Those who prepaid for autographs should have already been refunded.

Now, the GOOD news is that there have been some awesome additions to the lineup!  Both Jason Mewes and Brian O’Halloran will be there, in the flesh!  If you’re not familiar with the names, you may recognize Jason from Clerks 1&2, Mall Rats, Big Money Ru$tla$ and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back!  Brian can be seen in Clerks 1&2, Mallrats, and Dogma!

To get your last minute tickets, and see the current roster of celebrity appearances, hit up Astronomicon.com, and I will hopefully see you out there!

Scottie, Brian as also in Chasing Amy [alongside Matt Damen] as one half of the TV executives who offered Banky and Holden a TV show based off of Bluntman and Chronic.
