BrokeNCYDE Sign With Cleopatra Records; New Album Out Summer 2018

The godfathers of crunkcore are back!

Just a few short days ago, it was announced that former Suburban Noize Records‘s artist BrokeNCYDE have signed a deal with Los Angeles based Cleopatra Records.

Seven and Mikl-Shea have been steadily working on an album that is set to be released this summer.  They have shared a clip of their upcoming music video, “0 To BrokeNCYDE.”

April 26, 2018 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles’ legendary independent label Cleopatra Records has announced they have inked a deal with New Mexico’s brazen rap duo BrokeNCYDE to release their upcoming, 5th studio album this summer.

For the last decade, BrokeNCYDE has been synonymous with controversy and one of the most discussed acts. For the last year the duo has been hard at work on their highly anticipated new record, which fans will find revisits the band’s earlier sound with a distinct relevant flair.

    Don’t get me wrong, I actually dig some of their stuff for the sake of laughing a bit, but… they didn’t even raise any money from the Kickstarter they did for their last album. I doubt a new label is gonna change much. That said, I’m totally fine if they prove me wrong. Good luck to them, I’ll at least check out the new stuff when it drops.
