It got worse... but I'm feeling much better. Only now I'm on 'voice restriction'.
Almost as though someone had cast a wish against me using their cursed monkey paw... my "persistent non-productive cough" ravaged my larynx to the extent that I can't speak louder than a whisper until it heals on it's own.
I had already blown my voice out BEFORE the RiddleBox Show, it had healed enough for me to aggravate it that night "Whoop Whoop"-ing it up, played several gigs talking over my own music with gravel in my throat... then came the fuckin' COLD and my voice box was done the fuck in !
I can speak 'intelligibly' at this point (but shouldn't), eatin' cough drops till my tongue is numb...
It's kinda freaky. Reminds me of the first time I tried wearing contact lenses and fell asleep with 'em in, woke up and STUPIDLY tried to peel them off my eyes without using drops... (how the fuck would I know? First pair.) My vision went all cloudy and I was freaked the fuck out that it would stay that way!
Thankfully it didn't and I still wear glasses (and my astigmatism prevents me from gettin' the cool kind anyway).
All in all, I guess it was a good thing that I had cancelled my Veteran's Day/Birthday gig when I did, because not more than a few days later, I was a fuckin' MUTE with a cough! Ain't nobody got time fuh that!
An' let me just throw it out there for anyone else listenin'... Just because I HAVE TO WHISPER... does NOT mean YOU HAVE TO WHISPER! I can HEAR YOU just fine! I just can't talk louder than this! I'm not trying to tell you a fucking SECRET! I'm just trying to communicate with you the best I can! I speak English! Saying it louder doesn't help either! Gaw!
At any rate, when I'm feeling a bit more prosaic amongst my various medications, I got a story for the @sewerside Squad to share from a party I played where I screwed-up but ended up having people ask me "Who was that...?".
Until then, miss ya'll...
I'mma go watch that "Project X" so I can learn some of that sign language them monkeys be usin' to get Matthew Broderick to help me escape to the Everglades... [apple out]

Discredited? No. According to Charles Schlund III the government thought that the hippies were swaying the public's opinion on the Vietnam War since all of them were so anti-war. They gave Charles Manson drugs and manipulated him so that they could push this idea of hippies being satanic and evil as a way to discredit them. It didn't work, since most people highly disprove of the war. All of that is speculation, but what's true is that Charles Schlund III was a CIA agent who was terminated because they said he was doing and selling drugs. Turns out that was lie and he successfully sued George Bush Sr. for slander and for torture. That's fucking crazy to think about. Somebody actually sued an active president for torture and nobody knew about it. He claims it's because he was a whistle blower who had documents proving that they used Manson and that they assassinated Kennedy before they hired a bunch of bikers to steal those documents. There is no proof of that, but definitely proof of him suing George Bush Sr. for torture.
Edit: Probably got some facts wrong, I don't think Bush Sr. was active when he sued.
