i cosign that jamie/bones came correct on this one.. "new mono" instead of his classic amateur delivery was a let-down.. roc was roc.. track was cool.. id like to hear a new hok album.. they had a lot of classic songs, imo.. i remember handing out a few compilations i made, to non-juggalos back in high school..

just out of curiosity what do you mean by new mono vs classic amateur delivery, i've been trying to distinguish the two i think it's possibly his voice has more bass to it and his rhyme scheme is more.. idk potent (still searching for a better term) yet less evil.

you pretty much summed it up.. he's more well-refined now, while his older style was a more "simpler" delivery but it really stood out as part of the hok sound, with me..

yeah i was thinking the same thing, new hok is gonna be interesting to hear for sure, i know he won't be able to recreate his old sound but fuck it a ninja can dream. do you think they'll aim for a halloween release? i'm thinking yeah. i liked him on head trauma i hope they go for an album that can follow similar themes.

That'd be dope. A Devils Night release for the new HOK, then tour it during Freight Fest. Bring that shit BACK!!!!
I thought the production was just fine, but with this new HOK. We need those evil beats like Nosferatu / Coin Flip Lunatic. And Jamie to rap in his demon voice, not that hype high pitch vocal. Monoxide is fuckin leaps and bounds better than what he used to be, and ROC just completes that HOK sound. I'm mad hype for this release, even so much that I bought into that weekend only HOK t shirt deal that had...and I never buy merch anymore. All of my merch is from '97 - '06.
