my only immediate thought is that it oughtta take place at the con, during con hours.

as opposed to at the afterparties, or hotels, etc.

i spose i lied, as another thought is, that it should be open for anybody from the forum, as opposed to peeps that know each other already.

i wanna get a ghetto hockey table for it, but i find it unlikely.

i mean, we arent makin t-shirts or anything, right? i thought about some kinda party favors, a la last gotj massacre, but i dunno what theyd be, cuz im bout out of flh pins. and anything i might come up with [maybe], i doubt id need a hard head count for it.

so yeah... any specialness to consider that we would need an accurate head count for?

thinkin bout the last massacre, id say that one official meetup for the whole con should be good enough. one meetup early on, and then whatever from there.

oh...

bein that this is an event loaded with games, contests, competitions, and jenga bomb battles... what about the still-mythical but nonetheless legendary 'team flh'? the official faygoluvers reppin olympic-ass dcgcon competition team, with various players takin on various events as the first teams, and the rest of us spectating and homering?

if ever there was a time and place for team flh, this is it. didnt work out well last couple gatherings, but this is different.

Other than for the sake of everyone that wants to be at a potential meetup confirming a date/time/location for it, naw, not that I can think of.

I kinda want to go, even tho i never palyed any of the games. My girl been craving to go outta town and was all ears about this till i told her it was a 3 day event. She helps her mom at her diner and cant fathom abandoning her, so she gracefully bowed out. Its still on her mind so only time will tell

I'm just playing. Except I'm not. In all seriousness, you should subtly drop a bug in your lady's ear and try to gently persuade her. Taking a small sabbatical is definitely not abandonment and strictly from an outsider gettin' in your business' perspective I'd wager a thing like this could be good for everyone's mental health. If her circumstance is really that deep you could still come out for maybe the first few days. With the cheap admission you'd still get your money's worth assuming the cost of travel isn't too heavy. The Con is a good place to feel out the games and get familiar, and with all the other shit popping off there's no way you won't be entertained.

As for me, I know my ADD ass is going to be all over the place, but I'm down to clique up at some point. I'm definitely tryna scope out that combat arena. Just don't hold it against if I get lost in the sauce.

okay soo it's going to be on Friday, at the con, maybe like sometime after 3ish? There's always so much going on, and I'm sure some things will take longer than planned etc so I'm not sure exactly what time it should be... but I figured not within the first few hours because everyone is going to want to be checking out all the freshness of the con
