There was a Juggalo-made "Ball Bounce" metal mix that I have on a CD-R somewhere, that was fucking AWESOME!
I will try and track it down, in the near future.
Wizard of the Hood is one of those albums that is so good, it's beyond good. The only drawback is that it leaves you wanting more.
"You might discover your niche/and look, you ain't a bitch/all this just days before you/was gonna quit
tell me why do stress be L.I.F.E.?/every day's a new adventure with the fellas with me" - and so on...
Violent J/Joe Bruce's pinnacle (so far) of writing, flowing, emotion, in many ways.
The Shining was odd as fuck. The track "14 Years Old" hits home in so many ways that it disturbs me. It's excellent. But there are a lot of uneven tracks.
Fuck The Fuck Off! is pure fun, pure entertainment. I love that album. It starts off so old-school, so tight. And veers off into different dimensions, always intriguing.

To anyone going to the solo shows: We who are not would greatly appreciate it if you let us know if either clown played new music, and if so, what your opinion on it is.
Thanks in advance!

I really slept on FTFO. I thought it was gonna be some dumb gimmick. Recently I've come to really like that album, it doesn't try to be anything or fit anyone's expectations. It's just a cool ass album that's fun to listen to. My favorite track is "Pull me over". The best part is the beat and the sound effects by J. All the cop car noises are made by J, and it's hilarious. They could have easily put real sirens and whatnot in there, but with J doing it, it's just hilarious to me.
I'm really looking forward to FTFOMF. I'm trying to not decide what it 'should' sound like before hand. I'm just gonna let it be original and unlike anything else on the market, just like the rest of ICP's albums.

agreed about Wizard of the Hood...just a fantastic listen from front to back...made my moms a Violent J fan too lmao
The Shining gets hated on a bit too much I think...obviously it'd be tough to follow up something like WOTH and I think a lot of people wanted something more like that rather than what we actually got which was J doing his solo shit...I do agree it's an uneven project though but definitely some great tracks on there...Jealousy is my shit too
FTFO holds a special place in my heart...was basically the first NEW ICP-related album I ever heard/bought (I became a fan of theirs during that little hiatus prior to FTFO) and the FTFO tour was really the first straight up hip hop show I went to (I had been to like music festivals in the past with hip hop acts but never a completely hip hop show)...Shaggy killed it onstage, Clay killed it on the tables...was a fun show and the album itself is a lot of fun...I had always been a big fan of Shaggy's (love J's storytelling but Shaggy has a very blunt/fuck you approach that works for me haha) so hearing him have a whole album to himself was fresh and the little background vocals J added in were a nice touch...it's not a perfect album by any means but I dig it and like that it feels different from ICP's work as a group (which it should)...hyped for the new one!

Well unfortunately for me it came during a period in which i was trying to force myself to like anything icp put out (hells pit up till BPB!) i still dont like those albums, i like some songs off eye of the storm and the tempest, but i still dislike every song off hells pit and the calm.
I disliked the tempest for the longest cuz of a difficult/bad acid trip, that album made the trip get really wierd.
Woth...i had sooo many intense and amazing times trippin on shrooms or lsd. Thats why i value that solo album. Which is why woth wit the flh village was super fuckin epic. It was like watching it thru a diamond, shit was magical
what's not to like about Hell's Pit?...it has its flaws but also has arguably some of their strongest rapping/songwriting IMO (on certain tracks anyways...they kinda overdid it with the chanting/sing-songy shit and Real Underground Baby was unnecessary...it probably has one of the weakest endings to any ICP album but I didn't think it was terrible by any means

The concept and songs were good ideas but i hate the beats and the flow of each song. I guess its missing what i like to hear outta their mouths, funny lines. That church pedophile song had potential to have some funny lines. Fyi i knew VJ said prior to it dropping, that it had nothing funny in it.
It hard to explain thru text, just know, imo, it sux and has nothing i want to bump. More like something i would listen to in a dark room, plotting a school shooting.or revenge

hope FTFOMF gets released on vinyl as well...they should do like a 3 pack with that, FTFO, and Fuck Off EP I'd buy that shit instantly over Twiztid repackaging the same shit 5 times over lol
And where exactly do you think Twiztid got the whole repackaging it 5 times concept from? Except they do it cause their starting a god damn label not when they've been successful for 20 years lol

Damn, I didn't know about the tracklist yet! Seems pretty cool. I'm guessing the features aren't officially announced yet? Pretty sure they said before there is going to be a Violent J feature on there.
Kinda funny that there is a song called Dickhead on the album, considering that there's a Violent J solo track on House of Wax called I'mma Dickhead.
