I dunno... I read about those shows on FLH. Besides the dates and venues there is no other info, correct? How many stories can they do on it?

There's like an official upcoming shows thing that is off to the side on the main page. I think that's what wicketywicketyjuan  is referring to

Beats are trash. It sounds like clay just Dl'ed an 8-bit nes sound pack and went to town. The dude is so one dimensional on the boards its laughable.

Too dope would be so much better as just that one song with that particular production. This shit just blends in to one boring ass dumpster fire.

Shaggy actually brought the lyrics and concepts. When I saw the tracklist I was so hype reading the titles, C'mon "Stretch Nuts: A legend was born" Then You actually hear the beat to that and its like you don't even want listen to dude rap because of the terrible sounding bullshit built around it.

Get MEC back for fucks sake. This dude Light or whatever is worse than clay and Kuma combined. Joe Strange was the next best thing under Mike Clark and they fucked that off.

This saddens the fuck outta me.  I have not listened to the samples, cuz I hate fuckin up the surprise when the CD comes in the mail.  Anyway, this is exactly what I was worried about, Clay's bullshit ass beats.  He can come through sometimes, but usually, its very trendy (and not even good at that).  Ahh!!!  Ill just have to make my own judgement when I listen, but I feel what Karacalla is saying.  I hear truth.  haha

i feel like that can kinda be said about everyone who makes beats, there isnt that many different drum patterns and music notes.. hell, when im pickin and choosin beats from random producers i want my project to blend together and sound super cohesive.. Karcalla clearly doesnt know what hes talkin about.. is he trying to claim Lyte and Joe Strange made beats for psy?? lets not pretend like Mike E hasnt released a lot of trash(beat vol. 3) and that ICP werent the driving force behind their production regardless of who was helping 'em with it.. Tempest and FTFO is Mike by himself and i love those projects but theyre definitely not him at his best.. Most of Clay's "let em bleed" beats are fire..

anyone saying any project's trash, based off random 30 sec. clips, looks extremely ignorant..

nah what that  karcalla guy is saying is 100% on point. the whole cd sounds the same beat wise. Which is why I think it's going to suck. I listened to the samples, didn't mind the lyrics but the lyrics/beats do not match at all and you can straight up tell. If you want to hear longer snippets go on itunes. I think clay had like 1 or 2 good beats since he's been on psy, everything after that has been trash. Now they are just desperate for anybody to make em beats IMO. if clay produces the next jokers card it's going to be a joke

Hate to say it but darklotusfaygo has a point. Clays beats are kind of weak or generic. I'd say half the songs sound decent or good, rest is meh. Shaggy lyrically seems to be recycling a bit too, from what I've heard so far. Can't judge that till I hear the album.

Its a shame Otis didn't produce this album. I'm not saying he is the best producer alive, but hearing Slaughter's beats and imagining 2 Dope on those sounded devastating.

My imagination is captured at least enough to do a mock-exerpt:

Lori and Joshua's feet kicked up clouds of dust as they ran down the old dirt trail as fast as their little legs would carry them. Rows of Granny Smith trees sped past in their periphery, flanking them like The Red Queen's playing card foot soldiers surrounding young Alice. Neither sibling had seen what had made the noise, just as neither was brave enough to stick around so that they might. They had not seen it, but they felt it just as palpably as they had heard it, like the sudden change in a room's humidity when the A.C. cuts off.

Without a doubt they were being pursued. The finer points of what that might be flashed a thousand schoolyard rumors through Lori's racing mind, and for a moment she found herself cursing her younger brother's stubby legs as they ran inbetween the lines of trees that stretched before them like a hedge maze unwound. Joshua only wished that her big sister would relinquish his sleeve, that he might use it to blot away the thick dribble of snot that was dredging out of his distressed nostrils. He could taste it on his lips now, salty and unpleasant. The most he could manage to do is suck it in and send it out again, a jellified half-a-loog that hid away the moment it hit the dust.

Sanctuary came as a massive green house situated at the far end of the considerable property, big enough to serve as a home in its own right. Just like anything, rules governed the magic of this place, and the children knew without knowing that they were safe from whatever cerberus guarded the orchards so long as they were here. The humidity was dreadful though, and soon the pair were squelching along in clothes bogged down by their own sweat.

"It feels like a jungle in here." Said Josh, dragging out the last syllable, turning an observation into an infantile complaint. They passed rows of tomatoes, herb stalks as tall as they were, and some kind of fruit that neither child could identify. It was fist sized and electric blue, entwined with knobby roots the way veins cover an organ. Josh thought it looked like it belonged in a scifi comic book. He was considering this as he felt Lori tug at his sleeve once more. Capturing his attention, the girl immediately held a figure to her lips, gesturing skyward with the other hand.

Above them, suspended from sturdy wire, was a grated platform of black iron that ran the width of the green house. Here a shadow danced erratically too and fro, swaying the platform as well as the spiral staircase that lead from there down to the dirt level, rocking gingerly like dancing marionettes. Lori and her brother skulked, retreating back a ways, their eyes never leaving that elevated stage.

They could see the shadow jigging and jiving with greater clarity now. Its gangling movements somewhere between a goosestep and the silly walk from the old Monty Python skit neither child had ever seen. It made Lori think of spiders, or that lizard that can run across water, neither thought very appealing. Most disturbing of all was the figure's imperviousness to the oppressive atmosphere of the green house. Lori and Joshua had only been strolling casually after their mad sprint, and now found their clothes glued to their skin by perspiration. Meanwhile, the great gangly figure was shucking and jiving, in full top hat and waistcoat, dry as the beating sun overhead. Its like he didn't even feel it. His immaculately waxed moustache remained tightly curled, and his movements were hypnotic grace of terrible fashion.

Lori could not stop Joshua from tangling in the tomato vines, falling on his rump loud enough for the thing to snap to attention like a deer rearing its head in the tall grass. What followed was a moment suspended in time, and the siblings felt their blood turn snowy in their viens as thing called out to them.

"Oh! Is zat ze children? Oh! How I love ze children!"

It's voice was unnatural. Otherwordly. Shrill and out of place, like a cable car acting as an auctioneer or clown having an orgasm. Then it started after them, it's strange body bobbing down the spiral staircase like an off kilter metronome, its hands fluttering on limp wrists like pennants caught in a draft.

"Ze children! Ze children! I want to play with ze children! Ze children! Ze children! I come to play with ze children!" It went ahead in its dreadful singsong voice.

Lori and Joshua embraced eachother and screamed as revelation set in upon them. There were schoolyard rumors, and then there were nightmares come true- as they had come to his fabled orchards, so too comes Monsieur Frederick to claim them.

Lori and Joshua screamed and screamed.

Just listened to half of the snippets and stopped it. Would not call it hot garbage by any means but I can see where people are coming from saying it all sounds the same. Too Dope was the only production that popped from the first half IMO. I agree Clay has put out some alright beats but that was way back when he first got signed. I didn't enjoy much of his shit after the 2nd Let Em Bleed. I was hyped when he first got signed cause it sounded different but since then eh nothing he's produced goes hard. Would of loved to hear the YW version, if only he ganked a copy before he split seems like something he'd do.

I mean, in a perfect world it would be Daniel Day Lewis, but of course it's gonna be Johnny Depp 'cause you know how the motherfuckers be actin. If there's franchise potential they're not taking a risk, just slapping a new wig and funny voice on ol Jay Dee.

To the guy that said you can't judge beats off snippets.. they are like 1:30 long snippets lol on itunes.. more than enough to know that the beats sound like doo-doo. That's the problem with psy, instead of working with new producers they keep the same old people around that people don't like. Dj clay's albums don't sell, nor has he ever been a hot selling artist. It sounds to me like having clay do the production on this cd was desperation on psy's part, not wanting to fork out the money to have a better producer. Fuck I would've even taken Mike P to produce this album rather than clay. Fuck clay.

I liked Shaggy's solo songs from the Let Em Bleed series. Most of them were produced by Tre Pound though. I always wondered why they didn't utilize him more. And why Chop Shop never got that Hatchet House deal.
