Is sugar slam doin the hook on galoshes?
Yup.
She thanked him publicly, on twitter, for letting her be apart of the album.

The hidden track contained an MNE diss: "running amok on all these busters serving magic, you want drama with the psycho, motherfucker you can have it."
Pretty vague. Could be though.
I know a while back Ouija jumped on twitter asking for someone relevant to diss him so he could break his vegan diet, so.....

It seemed crystal clear to me at first. I mean, a PSYCHO fucking up people who are serving MAGIC? That's a bit too convenient.
But it just occurred to me that the "serving magic" might refer to himself and that's what he is using to run amok on all these busters. Would make sense since he is a wizard and all.
Guess it's vague enough for him to still claim that it wasn't a diss and people are just hearing what they want to hear..
Still makes me think of sneak dissin' little bitches, tho.

I just got my download sorted out (first try, download failed cause my internet sucks, so I had to email merchnow again about it. They were good about it, if you pre-ordered and don't have the shit yet, they'll hook you up with a digital copy until they can send the posters/ shirts/ hoodies. On a sidenote, I've always thought that you should get a digital copy of any album you buy... but we all know that no record label in the history of ever would wanna slash their potential sales in half like that by merging two different distro methods into one product).
GutterWater is amazing, it's already one of my favorite psychopathic releases since I grabbed the hatchet 17 years ago. It has less autotune than a lot of Swag Toof's material (really, only 2 songs have it and its not over used in them... though it did take a few listens to fully appreciate Shreddy Kruger. The other one that uses it, Denial, is fuckin lit, one of my favorite cuts from the wax).
I always loved the hidden stuff in the music, and GW doesn't disappoint on that end. Whether it be backwards messages teasing a series of albums, little nods to other juggalo shit, or actual weird esoteric references... his "SECRETS!" game is already hella strong. Maybe he really is a wizard... I should call my mom.

I liked Bear hands a lot, I've started listening to it regularly (along with ghost, but I was already listening to that). Besides that I liked urinal and denial a lot. And Body drop is pretty good. Killahoe and on everything wwere alright, good enough for a few more listens.
The rest I forgot the next day after hearing them, which sounds like a criticism, but that happens to me for every album ever, I hear it, remember a few songs, and ignore the rest, that's also why I don't think you should ever judge a whole album by one or two songs.
So yeah, iSs A gUD

I didn't listen because I feel like it might be a dumbed down juggalo version of music I already love but I am intrigued simply because of the fact it is a style of music I like and he was doing it prior to Psy and seems to not have as much of a Psy influence as most artists.
But I am listening to this new Pusha T project and it's fucking Phenomenal. Despite Kanye acting like an obnoxious idiot, he proves that he's still the creative genius he's always been. Beats are top notch. New Kanye next week, and the week after that a Kanye and Kid Cudi collab. Super excited.

The little bit of the album I sampled sounds fucking terrible. This kid can join Lyte, HooDoo and Clay in the "Psychopathic Openers" click.
I have no problem with him being part of the background music while I'm getting my pre-drink on.
For me, Lex and Gorilla Voltage are the current "MNE Openers" click.
I would try to find out the set list ahead of time and arrive at the tail end of their opening sets, before Blaze, ICP or Twiztid comes on.
Take it or leave it type shit.
I gotta agree with this. I liked Ghost, and seeing all these positive reviews had me pretty optimistic about the album. It def isnt for me lol. The only song I kept, other than Ghost, was Otherside, and I doubt Ill ever even listen to it again lol...

After being pretty fuckin clear about how much I hated this little Good Guy Doll goin thru its rebellious teenage years I had zero interest in GutterWater. Then ya'll started talkin about how good it was. My girl and I had a three hour drive ahead of us so we thought we'd bump it ONLY because of this thread.
That turned into listening to it again, then again, then again, and I just finished it again. Holy fuck. It really is the perfect blend between modern-style trap rap and that weird-funny-wicked shit style that got me into this whole scene. Goddamn. That pre-pubescent gargoyle with a codeine addiction is, apparently, a breath of fresh air on Psychopathic. He's kind of what I wanted Lyte to be before he turned into every single white chopper that exists.
There's definitely some sleepers on here but for every sleeper track that simply exists (when you title a track "Shreddy Kruger" you had better bring the fuckin thunder. Not more of the same) there's a track that will absolutely stay in my regular rotation.
Personal favorites thus far: Galoshes, Bear Hands, Body Drop, Denial, and If I Was a Wizard(?).
Already goin around the house threatening to stick my fingers in the hummus and smoke the cigarette butts out of the ashtray, so...yeah, I'm diggin this album a LOT and I was totally wrong about that human personification of a Hot-Topic discount rack.

85k for a picture, but lost all your credibility by supporting Trump and the MAGA movement. Fuck that attention whore. Sad when a self proclaiming musical "Genius" has to resort to shit like that for attention. Kanye Kardashian took a page from his hooker wife's handbook. Twice as sad when DRAKE bodies both Pusha L AND Kanye K. in a throwaway track lol.

The first time I spun the record was with headphones on because if you don't have a proper system in your ride it kind of cheats some of the songs.
That Lyte comment is 10000% accurate. Paint-by-the-numbers chopper rapper. Nothing more, nothing less.

Being honest, when they first announced Oujia is with Psychopathic, I had never heard of him before. I checked out a couple of Swag Toof songs and thought that shit was super wack. At least for my tastes, I fuckin hate that style of rap. Mostly the autotuned EVERYTHING and the repetitive beats.
I haven't heard all of Gutterwater yet, but honestly, I am enjoying this way more than I thought I would. Ouija has some pretty clever shit and some of these beats are a pretty cool take on the southern rap sound. I also like that Ouija has very few guests on the album and he's doing almost all the verses and choruses and shit.
I did listen to "Diamonds" and was also thrown off a bit by ICP's verse. But honestly, I wish they would have pretty much done the same type of approach but took it more serious rather than making it "comical". Would have been sweet. The rest of the song is pretty dope though.
Bear Hands totally reminds me of some old school Violent J, with bits of Mr. Rotten Treats and Mental Warp type of flows.
*Edit*
On second thought, I will make a somewhat bold statement here. Back to Bear Hands, I honestly think this song should be Psychopathic's signature song for this era. Similar to say Dead Body Man, which I view as the signature song of that time period. And probably just not for ICP, but "horrorcore" in general. Bear Hands gave me that vibe of what should be propping up the label at this point.

Yeah, I'm sick of all the antics from him lately too.
But Kanye still is a musical genius. Not just self proclaimed, but proclaimed by all of his peers.
That Drake song though, god damn. I wonder who wrote that.

Speaking of old school ICP references did y'all also notice in Bear Hands the line that goes like "brain fidget, bear hands swingin, limbs (?), Guts drip, cant fuck wit me" sounds very similar to Get Off Me Dog from Ringmaster "In the melon, in the back of the melon
One black, two black eyeballs swellin" tell me I'm not the only one that caught that lol.

I'm holding my peace for my entire thoughts on the album for at least a few more days, mainly because I got sick of hearing about the album before I e en got a chance to listen go it, and I wanna give it a few more spins.
I will say this: ICP's contribution to the album is really, really bad. I was rolling around listening to it with somebody else in the car, and we both start laughing midway through that track. I won't say who said what, but highlights from that banter
"Jesus Fuck its like someone crashed a pickup in the middle of the song!"
"Do you think, when faced with a new, young style, J and Shaggs were just at a loss with what to do and were like 'This works'?"
"Or maybe, if we suck as hard as we possibly can, it makes the new guy just sound awesome by comparison?"
"Maybe they're trolling him. Like, 'We're gonna do it this way. Let's see if he says anything.'"
"It's like the audio equivalent of somebody's drunk uncle photo bombing people at the wedding."

Or, Ouija was secretly taping the clowns during their warm-up banter rhymes... and played it back for them... they said, "hey, go with that raw feel!" ... and they did!

Every one is getting an ICP vibe from that song. It just sticks out amongst the rest of the album.
