To anyone who has ever got vip package for icp or twiztid, what is the experience like? I been to many of their concerts but never done vip before. Debating getting vip for the 20th anniversary milenko tour but not sure what to expect like how many things can you get signed, can you leave and reenter the venue after the vip, are all the other vip purchasers there with you at the same time for the meet and greet or is it one at a time, and do you get early access to the merch booth? The main reason I would get vip is for the faygo armageddon at the end. Just wondering what other peoples vip experiences were like

I did the Riddle Box VIP, my thoughts are, save your money. I paid a 100 bucks plus a venue ticket, which came up to around 135. The meet and greet was less than a minute. Everyone was pushed through by the staff. Only 1 item per person was signed. And then 1 picture per person. We got a riddle box sampler on cassette and a comic that I still haven't looked through.
Faygogedden kinda sucks, simply as you may not even be allowed on stage. We lined up before the last song. And before any of us got allowed theough, the crowd jumped up there. So I got stuck in the back against the riddle box tarp while Shaggy squeezed by in front of me and J made his exit too. Faygogeddenn is no longer ICP doing it, just the fans.
But hey, if you got the money, go ahead. It was a bit disappointing for me personally.

Psyral & I did VIP in Houston for our first ICP show (with Blaze & Twiztid) and then VIP twice for Twiztid Abominationz. We did Faygo Armageddon right next to Mike E. Clark filming it, and it was ecstasy. Twiztid's VIP was way more personal, once even on their tour bus with AMB. Every artist made a point of meeting everyone for real, and seemed eager to sign things within reason, but Twiztid seemed fed up with the "follow me on Twitter" and "sign a bunch of posters (I'm gonna unload on eBay)" crowd. Regarding merch access, it probably depends on the venue. If booths are up & running you'll probably be able to get first dibs. (I think this cuz I just checked Twiztid's new VIP site and it says this:
"Am I Able To Go Back To My Vehicle After The VIP?

Yeah. I can also confirm pretty much what everyone else is saying.
between the riddlebox tour, the violent J solo tour, and a few different twiztid tours I've probably gotten 5-6 VIPs in recent years
basically, IMO, twiztid's are better. they're usually not as crowded or rushed as ICP is - although granted as both ICP tours I went too were 'special' tours, who knows what a 'regular' VIP is like for them. Basically, you get your shit signed, get a picture, a quick 'sup' and a 'thank you for coming' from J and Shaggy, thats it. Twiztid VIPs are pretty cool as long as you're reasonable - I usually only bring a few things to get signed because I respect their, and everyone elses time. and their set-up is almost more like a comic-con signing, you go through the line of every other artist on your way to meet twiztid, so you usually stop and chill while waiting for the person in front of you and end up talking to boondox or blaze for a little bit.
these days, I don't know if I'd even consider VIPs worth it, though.

To whom this may concern. This question in regards to the VIP Experience differs from everyones own personal views and thoughts. I am a Fellow Juggalo who has done the VIP Meet N Greets for Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid and Tech N9ne. I and my Wife have enjoyed each and every VIP Meet and Greet with all of these Artists.
Now Uve got sum closed Minded Juggalos who believe in their own Minds that Ur not a real Juggalo if U pay for the VIP Meet N Greet N they Luv 2 make U feel inferior to them due to them having never paid for said Meet N Greet. I on the other hand take advantage of the VIP Meet N Greets to the best of my Ability to ensure that I atleast am guranteed a Pic, an Agnagraph and a Dap with My Musical Heros.
My Wife N I's Experience has always been a good one with all the Artists and Ive gotta say that I believe the VIP Meet N Greet will always differ from which City they are playing. If Ur closer to the Cities where that Underground Artist has a Big Following than the VIP Meet N Greet will be sumwhat rushed so that each VIP will get a pic and a Dap.
In the cities that their following isnt crazy big than the VIP Meet N Greet will be a little more laid back and you will have more time to get more stuff agnagraphed. I as a Jugggalo have made my VIP experiences more memorable by finding Gifts to give to these Artists since these Artists have given us so much throughout their careers. Hope this helps. Not true from the VIP at the Erie show, first time they've ever played here and the VIP was just one autograph, say some stuff, then get back in line for a pic.

True. Here in Houston, we have done VIP for ICP, ABK, and Twiztid.
ICP was laid back but probably the least personal. It was still great but compaired to the others was slightly more "regulated". The main benefit of ICP VIP was the Faygo Armagedon. It is the one reason I recommend doing it at least once. You could always just jump on stage on your own without VIP at the end if you are into that. Plenty of people do. It will save you the VIP expense.
ABK was great. He came out and chatted, signed things, etc. in a very personal way. No lines or anything he just walked around. Gave good merch to the VIPs and even after the show decided to just go out and meet with everyone there for a few hours at the venue regardless of VIP. I still thought it was worth the expense since I feel it supports the artist and is additional incentive to continue to provide music.
Twiztid has been great on multiple occasions of VIP. In one they had it on their tour bus and was really cool. At another where there were too many for the tour bus, they did one like ABK and just walked around, no lines or anything.
The VIP crowd size, as @yakamajuggalo said, is probably the largest determining factor in how personal the experience is. It seems that when they are able to, they try to give as much of a VIP experience as possible. In smaller crowds like in Houston, they are able to do more than in larger crowd areas.
[edit] just realized @krunkazphuk already posted about the VIPs we did. Well now you get the info twice :P [/edit]

It has always blown my mind why any entertainer would charge people money to meet them or take pictures or sign some shit. That is called "fan service". I have been in the pro-wrestling and music business for 17 and a half years (I've even worked for Psychopathic/JCW a couple times), and I never once asked any of my fans or patrons of the events for money for a photo or an autograph...let alone to "meet me" for Christ's sake... The way I see it, they already bought a ticket to the show to support me, so why would I tax them any more than that? If they want to buy some merch, that's wonderful. But to tax people for fan service is not only greedy and whack as fuck, but it is disrespectful to the fans who've already paid your bills. I've been rushed in the streets by groups of people asking for pictures and autographs and I always just appreciated the fact that I even have fans. Especially overseas.

Just from my personal experience from last years Riddlebox Tour (which isn't the 1st time I've actually bothered doing VIP). I did not get rushed at all. The 1st time was at Webster Hall in NYC and quite frankly it was a decent number of people doing it but by the time my turn came I honestly spent about 30-35 minutes just chopping it up with them about all types of stuff. Got a few pictures (granted 2 got lost). Overall a excellent experience as it usually is. 2nd time in NJ I didn't pay for anything. Dougie (Billy Bill's younger brother) found me and brought me out back by the buses 30 minutes before they went on was once again choppin it up with them & got a dope picture, Shaggy told me a hilarious story about randomly seeing Bizzy Bone in Minneapolis, J personally introduced me to Nate The Mack, Dougie, Carlito and some others than it was time for them to go on so we all rolled in through the back door and I got too watch some of the set from behind the stage until I decided too check it out from side stage with Nate the Mack. Both times for Faygo Armageddon I had NO ISSUE getting on stage at all. People did rush it but that's what happens at a clown show. Key thing to remember: You might not get on the stage if it's already packed. I never bother with autographs because I don't care for them.
Twiztid's in Feb for the Eat Your Heart Out Tour in NYC....It started LATE and it was rushed in my opinion. They were just pushing people through you might have gotten 2-3 minutes at most. I didn't get pushed through so I chopped it up with them for 15 and they were cool enough to do that. However to some people that night it seemed like they just wanted to collect the money and get out of the venue until they had to go on. Turned down getting anything signed because once again I don't care for them.
It's all up too you on what you wanna do though.

There's a demand for it so they offer it as does any artist who has VIP packages available. From one of the previous times I met them and was talking too them: They really don't like doing VIP. It's not like ICP can just walk around with face paint on and not get mobbed by people wanting pictures and autographs.

I have only done vip twice, both with icp and both were mad incredible experiences.
You gotta make it worth it in your own way. They are giving/selling you an opportunity but it's up to you to freak it.
The first time I did it was the mighty death pop tour. I had just gotten accepted into an honors art course I was very excited about and so I made a collage thing to give to icp that looked like the death pop. There was more than 50 but not quite 100 people in the vip line. We went to the back of the venue, and in groups of two or three (or more if you had a crew) and spent a few minutes with the clowns. The dude i was paired with asked me to snap a pic for him and I did. He was supposed to return the favor and bounced so I didn't get a pic. But I gave icp my art and they were super appreciative of it. I told them how i applied to this class but on the deadline I almost through away my application cuz i didn't think I'd get in But then pass me by came on and that part of the hook "even though i almost never try, I'm not gonna let this pass me by" hit me hard. So i owed them thanks for that and for being one of the few streams of input in my life that have always told me i mattered. They fucking got teary eyed and hugged me and we had a conversation about depression and it was just amazing. Faygo Armageddon was fun as hell.
The second time was at the shockfest tour. They were late. We were ushered in in groups of like 10. There were way more vips than the last. I gave icp some more art. An essay I had written. We talked some. They made sure to spend time with everybody in my group.
People who were just like "i love you guys!!" Were kinda awkward but people who had a conversation with them, they hella enjoyed. This girl told them about her first gathering and meeting her boyfriend. A couple who had a wedding photo album had asked them to sign it because they had bonded over their love of icp when they first got together. This other dude told them about how he was getting off drugs because of them.
Faygo Armageddon sucked on this one because i waited too long to get to the side.
From what i hear the experience has changed a lot. You no longer get early entry, vip happens during the show.
I'm happy with my experiences. They were priceless.

I have done VIP multiple times
First time was death pop: it was my first time meeting them, explained to them how much their stuff has meant to me,how they kept me from ending my life a few times, J looks into my eyes and goes "Fuck that, never do that,we need you here too much"....that blew me away, i also relayed a funny story how about in the early 2000's before smartphones i got laid from a stripper by telling her i was J, a few weeks later a interview came out and J relayed that story to the interviewer
than i met them again at a in store for the missing link, both j and shaggy remembered me and the story i told and shaggy was like "goddamn, that shit was so funny,i was laughing for a few days after"
than i met J again at the solo tour: That VIP was amazing because it was just J taking like 5 people at a time into the back room hanging out for 15-20 minutes, he remembered me again, and spent most of the time talking to me, told me "you are really hard to forget, you are so charismatic, its just impossible to forget you"
Than just recently i went to the milenko tour in seattle and in portland, i went because i have had some health issues and doctors havent given me a whole lot of time left. In seattle i told them that these might be the last opportunities i get to meet them, J asked "Why, whats going on" and i explained my health, J started clutching his head and turned away saying "No no no,man i cant hear that right now, fuck", so i got my picture and bounced, during faygo armageddon i fell off the side of the stage and hit my head on the concrete, shaggy,j, and lyte all came down and helped get me into a chair and poured water on the wound to wash it, all the guys from psychopathic took care of me.
The next day in portland i was hurting pretty bad,but i still had to go. When i walked in J was like "goddamn man,i was worried about you all last night,i took a fall like that during my JCW days, and i couldnt walk the next day, really glad to see you" and shaggy was like "Yea man,i saw that fall, holy fuck that shit was scary". So the way they structure it is that everyone goes in to sign shit and than they line up to do pictures in front of a milenko background, the guy from psychopathic says "hey man,you hang to the back, they want you in last" i dont know what the fuck that means, but i go in to take the picture, we're talking and shit, i go to walk away and shaggy puts his hand on my chest and goes "hold on man, last night i was thinking about all that shit you told us last night, and i gotta say, you are fucking stupid to giving up on your life, go to another doctor, fight that shit, you are such a good dude,we can see it every time we meet you,you have such good karma that i wont accept you not being around for the next tour, you gotta be here" and J was like "fuck yea bro,if some doctor tells you that you are going to die you tell that motherfucker to lick your fucking nuts" as i am walking out i had a breakdown, i was getting emotional, i had to go hang out outside the venue and get my shit together, ended up sitting with lyte for a while and talking.
Every time i have met them it has been a amazing experience

Doctors couldnt figure out was wrong with me, but everything was spreading and i was in more pain every day. They had told me that eventually "Your body just wont be able handle it any more". Before going to the show honestly i had resigned myself to death, and was fully planning on going about my life until the pain got too much to stand and than i was going to end my life. Shaggy was getting in my face, basically yelling at me,after the show in the hotel honestly i completely broke down, and realized he was right, i wasent going to let this shit beat me. So i went to a new doctor the next week, a much smarter doctor, who figured out that it was a parasitic worm that i probably got when i visited Australia early in the year,i am on a new regimen of medications, and i am getting better

well, thats good. actually, thats bullshit, but its good cuz- eh, hopefully you get me.
i might be up in that neck of the country sometime. you gimme that first doctors name, i can go slap him across his head for ya.
seriously.
you dont tell a patient some shit like that unless you have a high-confidence diagnosis.
in fact, if im up there, ill be visiting two long career pro medicos of impeccable standing. they might just be able to get the guy sanctioned official-style, no slapping necessary.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

i get you,and thanks bro, its all good though,i mean i am still sick, and if it was left untreated the parasite would of at some point shut down some vital organs, i am not out of the woods, but i am not coughing and shitting blood every 3 hours anymore, and i am not in indescribable pain 24 hours a day anymore
As crazy as it sounds, if shaggy hadent of gotten all up in my shit and called me out on my stupidity i might be dead right now
