@OldMrDangerous I hear that about being homeless in a warmer climate
6 months of homelessness in blistering New England winter was the hardest shit the old lady and I ever went through.. wouldn't ever wish that on another person, to humble their ass out or not, we got through it and are immeasurably grateful to have done so, never to go back to that struggle.

You're from the 607 so I know exactly the climate there. Even summers can get cold at night. If I didn't have a wife and kids and somehow was homeless again, with no one to stay with, I would go as far away from Elmira, Binghamton and Albany as possible lol. The humidity in winter chills to the bone. So wack. Sorry that you had to go through that with your woman, that would hurt even more. Are y'all still together? If so, that's a keeper right there. My wife has stuck with me through more than anyone of her awesomeness deserves to, as well.
Anyone ever read "The Road" by Cormac Mcarthy, or seen the film? That's what I think of sometimes when I relate to being without a home. There's a part in the book, can't remember if it's in the movie, but the father finally finds a water source and uses the opportunity to give his son a quick clean up. The Earth is slowly getting colder, and the father is trying to care for his son, but the water is fucking freezing and his son is crying during the washing. It stuck out as an especially painful scene for me, because having to pour ice cold water on your perpetually freezing son out of desperation is just too much to bear. It is a heartbreaking scene.
Well, back to the subject at hand.... as long as Violent J isn't trying to clean Ouija Macc in a post-apocalyptic Michigan forest with almost-frozen water, then things are pretty much just fine.

Suicide is definitely harder than it looks. Goddamn Bushwick SHOT HIMSELF IN THE FACE and was still doomed to live life, minus an eye. And still as a minority midget in Texas. Think you got it ruff?
Bushwick's girlfriend shot him.
I do know several people that have lived through shooting themselves in the head though.

Not his girlfriend it was his mom who shot him but he was intending to get shot and killed
edit: geto boys wouldn't be the same without bushwick also got the most legendary album cover from it

If it wasn't his girlfriend, then why does everything from back then say it was? I know that VICE article says it wa shis mom, but i think they missed the word "baby".
Last summer, Bushwick Bill, high on grain alcohol, fought with his girlfriend; the fight ended when she shot him--in the eye. Bushwick said he'd deserved it, even asked for it: he'd threatened to throw her kid out the window. It was a pretty good sign that the Geto Boys' life was following their art.

Fuck man, you know it.
We're still together, ride or die and after shit like that sometimes you can't help but feel invincible.
Speaking of invincible, I bet dat boy Ouija feels pretty on top of shit right now, even if he is living in the bottom of some guy's house.

Yep. I hope he maintains the appreciation that the exposure from even being mentioned by name from the Clowns endures. Dung Wicked seemed to forget it quickly. He retreated like a trapped opossum.
