I may have slept on Kanye West. Ever since @lucem-ferre kept talking about him I decided to check him out, started with a couple songs from his first album College Dropout, and they were pretty nice. I'll have to check out more. 

Oh, and I heard Kanye's song Power from Saints Row The Third. 

He almost is as talented as he says he is though.

Also, I still don't understand why he's hated as much as he is. The media blew shit Trump did out of proportion and people saw that as reason enough to celebrate him like he's a political savior. The media does the same shit to Kanye. Except, Kanye apologizes when he fucks up.

But why? Why does saying 'I'm awesome' piss people off? If you ever heard Kanye actually talk in an interview you'll find that he can be pretty humble too. Like, a self contradicting humble where he thinks he's a genius but is humble enough to admit his mistakes and admit when he's wrong. Like when he apologized for saying Beck wasn't a real artist, admitted that he's a hypocrite for saying it and that who is he to say who should get best artist. Learn the ways of the Kanye and you'll soon learn to love the Kanye and admire the philosophies of the Kanye.

He said Beck ain't a real artist because Beck is white. Same reason he interrupted T Swift. He most likely has a hatred or at the least a strong dislike of white people.

Edit: A bunch of asshole editors and twitter accounts claimed that he did it because they were white. There is no evidence of that having anything to do with why he did it and he definitely did not say that.

Then why doesn't he interrupt every white person that wins an award? Or perhaps white artists are more likely to win so it's just a coincidence? Kanye is too blunt and can't keep his mouth shut enough to keep it secret if he really interrupted them because they were white. It also contradicts many things he has said. Like that when he actually heard the album in question by Beck that he thought it was actually pretty good and maybe it did deserve the award. Or how when naming artists that he thought were great artists during one of his rants he mentioned Taylor Swift.

Edit: Being an actual fan of Kanye who pays attention to his interviews and what he says I can tell you with out a doubt that Kanye is not racist.

Also, a local band from back in my formative years, one that actually got me into hard music even more. They finally released the first version of their only album, and I prefer this arrangement of tracks.

The lead singer was and is still in a wheelchair. Their music was truly fucking unique at the time to us. Spawned off countless copycat in upstate NY. 

That remix of Breakdown, I heard it before the original. The remix is way better
