And like every other movie that pushes the envelope, it's banned pretty much everywhere outside the U.S. Same thing happened with A Clockwork Orange, they still don't allow that to be screened in any public theatre in England. A Serbian Film is banned all over the place, that's a great way to get your film known. I didn't hear about it until people got all pissed off about it.

Clockwork orange wasn't even that bad to me. I understand I live in a time where shit like that is tame now....Cannibal Holocaust now that is a fucked up movie....
And scruffy I had to read that three times to get the gist of what you are saying.....lol im a dumbass though.

@SLUMERICAN & PAT...I watched some of Cannibal but never finished watching it I got bored, but that is another film that was banned in over 50 countries and the film's impalement scene was examined by the courts to determine whether the special effects were genuine.Same with Serbian film they thought that shit was real the director was charged with exhibition of child pornography.

I admit A Clockwork Orange is tame by today's standards, but back when it came out it disturbed the fuck out of casual movie goers. Same with Texas Chainsaw, people reportedly left the theatre all fucked up. I remember Cannibal Holocaust, I remember that scene you're talking about too. I never knew the courts got involved that way, kinda ridiculous. They got all bent out of shape over Lucio Fulci's Zombie back in the day, and all other zombie films after that surpassed the level of violence in that film by far. Still doesn't stop people thinking Zombie is a classic, it isn't. It had a zombie swimming with a shark trying to eat it for Christ's sake. I always wonder why other countries get all bent out of shape over gore, considering how fucked up most of those countries are. I would think you could show any movie no matter how fucked up it is in Bulgaria. Apparently not though.

I liked Zombie it was pretty good, but Governments are hell bent on censorship and taking freedoms away, its the same here and everywhere else in the world. You cant get away from it.Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney was shopping around the show during first season for a network to pick up the show and one of the networks didnt want anything to do with Sunny cuz the show was talking about abortion. They weret allowed to even say the word abortion on that network so he said fuck them and went to FX.

I think south park is the one exception to that. They get away with EVERYTHING. On the wheel of fortune episode they drop the N bomb like 200 times. They Have buddha snortin' coke off of tables. They have george lucas and spielberg literally raping indiana jones. Which is why I love that show so much. Nothing is taboo.

@iLLtheClown for someone who hates Gordy so much, you sure seem to like to spend a lot of time talking about him...
No matter what anyone says about his music, he did NOT deserve to get shot, hell nobody does. It's just entertainment...I'm sure Gordy is not actually a pedophile or anything like that, and if you really don't agree with his form of entertainment, then why spend so much time arguing about it? It's not going to change anything and just makes you look like a dick with nothing better to do then to hate...
That being said, best wishes to King Gordy and his family MCL

I do agree his music nowadays is a little too much for my taste. But it wasn't always like that. The Entity was streight FIRE! Someone made the comment that his new shit is just him trying to be shocking in genre that doesn't have much room left for that. That person was right on point. I don't hate him for it. I just don't really listen. But honestly, if the guy really has been shot, arguing about his music feels stupid to me…
