The ‘Bring the Noize Tour’ , since it’s debut on the West Coast, has been slowly working its way across the States east-bound and has had no shortage of Noize being brought to the audiences they’ve entertained over these past few weeks. And how could they do anything less with the lineup like KMK, La Coka Nostra, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Big B, Potluck, and Short Dog? It can only get better if Big B and Short Dog were replaced, but that’s just my opinion.

The night started out fresh, a new group I never heard of before this tour, Short Dog, took the stage and did his thing. I have no idea what any of the tracks were called, but I do know that some of what I heard wasn’t half bad. He seems to know how to keep a crowd entertained and has his stage presence on lock. At the ass-end of his set, however, he gave back to the people who came to see them by throwing a small amount of free merch. from the stage before he made his exit. If you have seen him on the tour and liked what you heard, I’d suggest you hit him up online via MySpace, YouTube, or something of that sort.

After him though, was the Humboldt homies you and I have come to know, respect, and (musically) love. That’s right 1ton and Underrated overran the stage with the intro from the latest album release “Pipe Dreams”; ‘Welcome to the Movement’. 1ton came out and did his verse, solo, but you could hear the punch-packing, rhyme stacking, Underrated, from offstage still throwing in his hype flavor. After the beat faded out came the beat from ‘What we are’ and Underrated let his tongue rip a new hole in the ceiling of the venue, giving it the skylight affect. Their set was probably the shortest of the night only including a handful of songs: ‘Welcome to the Movement’, ‘What we are’, ‘Dank Alumni’ , ‘Stoner Bitch’, and ‘Say what you want.’ Although their set was so short and it left more to be desired it was still fresh as fuck to see the two up there doing new tracks from the latest drop.

Once the Humboldt hippie-guys got off stage it was time the hooligan straight out of Las Vegas, Big B, to grip the mic and shine in the light. He took the stage and it wasn’t like a usual set that I’ve seen him in before, he was without the Dirtball. On his own he rocked the set. I myself am not that much a Big B fan, but he knows what he’s doing up there and seems to love it as much as anyone else would. He did tracks like ‘White Trash’, ‘Hooligan’, ‘Pass the Jager’, ‘Criminal’, among other songs that he’s compiled from the few albums he has out on the shelves pushing themselves out the store.

Shortly there-after, the air was over swept with an eerie silence and the crowd hushed. The ancient words from the Lotus Pod echoed across the walls as the Dead Man, Blaze, took the stage hitting the track ‘Real G Shit’ with no pause. The crowd of Juggalos erupted into a mosh-pit frenzy demolishing anything that came into it’s path. He then proceeded to jam out with his clam out to an all too familiar set. Kicking the oldie but goodies; ‘Juggalo Anthem’, ‘Hood Ratz’,’Hatchet Luv’, ‘Escape Artist’, and a few others that have slipped my mind, Blaze definitely brought the Noize from the Psychopathic viewpoint, no doubt about that.

Then, it was time, the newest addition to Suburban Noize Records, could get up in the spotlight and do their thing. La Coka Nostra consisting of Everlast, Danny Boy, Dj Lethal, Ill Bill, and Slaine raped the stage and the sound system. The bombarded it hard, even though the night before was St. Patrick’s Day and they’re about as Irish as you can get. Their set was off the hook, no questions asked. They did tracks from the upcoming debut on Subnoize, and even took the extra time out to do tracks from each individual’s solo projects. While still the entire time, commanding the crowd, holding them at LCN’s every whim. Right as they were about to get off the stage the pumped the crowd up with a barrage of chants and kicked the two tracks I know for sure ‘Jump Around(House of Pain)’ and ‘That’s Coke’. Once them tracks were done, they were gone. Seriously if you get the chance see that group live.

And finally we came to the point of the main event, the headliners, and Kings of the Suburban Noize Empire, the KMK! Their set is one thing you can always count on never changing it’s like Coke Classic, the same recipe as before. It’s the same great taste that never gets old, but every now and then it seems that they could switch it up from time to time. Their stage set up was amazingly beautiful, the back drop was the cover to the green album with out any writing on it. Then in front of it was Pakalieka on his thrown, off to his right was Lou Dog on a newly updated drum kit shielded behind some type of plexi-glass looking thing. To his left was DJ Bobby B cutting it up on his usual spot, at the wheels of steel. And all over were the usual plants they have posted, Pak’s vaporizer, and these really detailed pictures of these plants that looked so luscious the crystals looked like drops of dew, fucking huge. The first half of their set consisted mainly of songs that have done music videos for with two or three thrown into the mix to switch it up somewhat. Then it was basically the same, if you have ever seen them live before. They know how to keep the crowd more than rowdy and did so almost the entire set, until they slowed it down with their stonier sounds.

A good tour and a good show, if it’s headed you way hit it up!
