Lo Key is back again with the club style flow and beats that you heard from his “So-Lo” record. Part of the club style of this album comes from his thievery of mainstream beats. If you give this CD a try then you will be surprised by the fact that Lo Key is just as good as any mainstream artist, and he proves it all over their beats.

He shows how much his skill has improved over earlier albums by demonstrating the speed and lyrical content he can spit per loop. He is headed toward the speed that only artist like, “Tech N9ne,” and “Bone Thugs N Harmony” have successfully achieved. Though he is not up to that level of speed while still retaining quality he shows much room for improvement. He does have a lock down on great choruses that will have you “Sippin’ On JD.” This CD was in my opinion a taste of the great work that Lo Key is going to be putting out. I hope he does well, he truly deserves it right about now. If he doesn’t become mainstream, he will become a headliner in the underground world.

The Bottom Line: It is FREE. This album shows what skill Lo Key has and foreshadows what is to come from his skill in the future. If your not sure if you want to get his “So-Lo” record then get this, its a great representation of what that CD has to offer. Plus Badluck makes an appearance on the last track of the album.
