The Cult Leader and the Soul Assassin have united to create one of the most sound-prolific albums of 2010! This is the 6th installment of the series of rap collaborations for DJ Muggs. He grabbed La Coka Nostra/Former Non Phixion member iLL BiLL for one of the greatest collaborations you’re ever going to hear. Lyrics wise, it’s what you’d expect from Bill himself. Paranormal lyrics about the secret societies, the Illuminati, name it and it’s mentioned.

Cult Assassin is your sequel to “Doomsday was Written in an Alien Bible”. Trouble Shooters (Ft Sick Jaken, Sean Price, and OC) is a great rapid fire/jam session style jam with some topics about the truth of the oil in the middle east and other stuff. Illuminati 666… Well I am not gonna explain this one. Just listen to the song and go and read up on “Skull and Bones societies” that are hidden inside fraternities in colleges. Amputated Saint (Ft. B-Real) is another classic hip hop joint that will keep your ears ringing from start to end. Skull & Guns (Feat. Slaine & Everlast) is another classic LCN joint for you to throw into your mindframe of knowledge of the truth. It’s a good thing to hear Everlast talk about the secrets as iLL BiLL does. For a second, I thought it was Non Phixion by time I was done listening to it. Giants Stadium (Feat. Q-Unique) is a New York Anthem on a bigger level. Bill and Q Had to give a shoutout to their hometown team (What? Did ya think they were Jets fans? lol). Need a fix on some New York hardcore? Then Chase Manhattan (Feat. Raekwon The Chef) is for you! This is as hardcore as you’re ever goin’ to get outta New York. That mob-style shit and Muggs kills it again!

The title track Kill Devil Hills (Feat. B-Real & Vinnie Paz) made me think that Bill freestyled this bad boy (wouldn’t be surprised If he did). B-Real makes the 2nd appearance on this album and just gives you some more classic Cypress Hill-style rap that helped put him on the map. Vinnie Paz as always destroys every single song he ever jumps on with his uncanny flow that makes me an even bigger JMT Fan. The final song Narco Corridos (Feat. Sick Jacken & Uncle Howie) is true storytellin’ rap on its most potent level. It’s a grand way to end the album. Bill gives you the story of Uncle Howie’s drug addictions that lead to his unfortunate demise. Sick Jacken also tells the same story of a family member of his. This song could be 2010’s “Don’t Do the Hard Drugs” campaign. The creepy part of this song besides the horrorcore style beat Muggs whipped up is that Uncle Howie talks at the start and the end of the song…Rest In Peace Howie! 5 outta 5 and ya’ll better pick this up!
