Nowadays, Big B may be most well known for his reoccurring role as Carey Hart’s helper, on the hit A&E series INKED. But Sub Noize fans, and underground music fans in general, know that Big B has been making a name for himself long before he ever popped up there. From his days with OPM, to his previous releases on Sub Noize, “High Class White Trash”, and “White Trash Renegade”, it may not be long before Big B is just as recognized for his rap game, as he is for his tattoo covered body.

Big B isn’t the most gifted lyricist, as he tends to keep his words simple and to the point. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as a lot of artists tend to overload on the metaphors, and come off sounding foolish, rather than complex. However, I wouldn’t mind if he put a little more effort into his writing, he does what he does well though, and always manages to be entertaining in his role.

The CD is mostly a compilation of works from his previous release, “High Class White Trash”, and tracks Big B appears on from Subnoize Souljaz, Daddy X, Judge D, and OPM, just to name a few. There are six new tracks though, and some of them are actually quite good.

The best of the new tracks would have to be “Hey Joe”, which is an amazing remake of the Jimi Hendrix classic. However, “How It Sounds” is pretty damn good too. Other highlights on Random Stuff include previously recorded material such as “White Trash Renegade”, “Mayday”, and “I Don’t Wanna Die”.

As far as the DVD that accompanies this release, it is highlighted by a hilarious video for the song “Horney.” It also features the video for “Mayday” which is also quite entertaining. The rest of it is good, but nothing too memorable.

The Bottom Line: If you like Big B then you should consider picking this up, it serves as mostly a greatest hits, but also features many tracks from other Sub Noize releases. Plus with six new tracks, and a DVD that comes with it, it may be worth the price for fans of the White Trash Renegade.
