The music video for Prozak‘s “Wake Up You’re Dead” track has finally been released! The video consists almost entirely of footage from the 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos! If you were in or around the pit at all during Prozak’s set, then you very well could be in the video! Over at Bloody-Disgusting.com, they had the privilege of making the debut, and had a short interview with the Hitchcock of Hip Hop as well. Here’s a link for that ass:

Bloody-Disgusting: Tell me about “Paranormal” and how you feel the album represents you at this point in your personal history?
Prozak: Paranormal is the perfect record to represent myself after this hiatus. I wanted this album to be all sides of my art… to really express my thoughts and beliefs.. most importantly to live up to the expectations of my supporters.
Bloody-Disgusting: The album is entitled Paranormal and I’m curious if you can expand on what it is about that particular name that appealed to you?
Prozak: The concept behind the title, is I feel I am exactly that! Paranormal to the music business. My album spans genres from hiphop to metal- story telling, to intense ballads of self destruction.. Hope, sorrow, anger & rage.. Depression & inspiration. However the roller coaster ride makes perfect sense to a deep individual. I make people music, not pop music.
Bloody-Disgusting: The music videos for this album are each wildly different from one another. Can you expand on that a bit?
Prozak: As the director of these videos, I wanted to represent each song with the visuals that came to my head while writing the lyrics. The videos are def wildly different from each-other, I believe that is because the songs vary so much. Myself and my right hand in video production (Adam Eugenio) went all out shooting these videos. Extreme cold shoots, gorilla style production.. Wanting to bring the realism to the screen. We are extremely proud of the reactions and success of these 7 music videos.
Bloody-Disgusting: What do you feel “Paranormal” says that people need to hear, to understand?
Prozak: I think there is a massive amount of knowledge which has surfaced from life experience. There is something for everyone within the confines of these lyrics. I explore the dark corners of Hate-Corporate control-karma-death-love-Self destruction-Extinction-Remorse-War.. to name a few.
