On the Tech N9ne Facebook, they put up audio and some transcripts of a Tech N9ne interview that took place a few days back. If you missed it, Tech is fuckin’ PISSED. He talks about how his verse on Prozak‘s “ENEMY” track is a big “Fuck You” to anyone who has ever accused him of stealing or not being an innovator. This track was an outlet for a response to those people. He continually referenced people on Twitter who were talking shit too. Check the audio out…very interesting shit in this one:

That track took me straight there. It’s talking about everybody who ever said anything negative. It gave me a platform to call anybody out that ever said anything negative about my positive movement. What I mean about positive is that I could be doing something way negative, like gang banging like we did in the past and killing motherfuckers, but instead I’m killing motherfuckerslyrically and I’m doing beautiful music. I have a song called “Beautiful Music”and it’s so beautiful. I do it every night. For somebody to listen to listen to“Unfair”, the verse on “Unfair” and to say that I bit that from somebody. And you’ve never heard that before. Nobody’s ever heard that. I’ve never heard it in hip hop and I’m a hip hop connoisseur. For somebody to fix their mouth and say “Tech is biting something” “Tech took that from so and so”, that’s just them trying to make themselves feel better about their whack ass shit.

this beef really sucks for cats like me that still digs both of these guys. Ive been listening to Q for longer and have a better personal repore with his music for a lot of reasons, but I respect Tech for his grind and diversity. Tech can say the main stream is going him all he wants, but when he’s doing tracks with Lil Wayne and T-Pain and tours with Machine Gun Kelly and Paul Wall, it really hurts his underground credibility, not just because they’re mainstream, but they’re main stream and they SUCK. Tech is simply better then 90% of the guests he features, and it hurts to have to listen to one of the best with a bunch of the worst. Q has soome valid point in “Return To Strangleand” about Tech, but doesnt really have the right to tallk bad when it comes to the busisness. Q put out one the most slept on albums ever in 2003, and for whatever reason, didn’t stay on it and do a REAL follow up until just this year. I still don’t know what happened with Q and Twiztid/Majik Records, but I wish they could have worked it out cuz Q is still himself one of the most slept on cats in the underground. I always wanted to hear a Q and T9 collab myself, but whatcha gonna do?
