Juggalos! Juggalettes! Nymphomaniacs! Lend me your ears (and vaginas too)! Your boy BeZerk is back once again to bring you another updated Underground Spotlight. Now I know you all been waiting on that interview with the model to get your rocks off to, but she’s in the middle of something important, and we’ll get to it in the future. For this underground spotlight though, I brought you something much more sinister.

I decided it was about time to catch up with the dream stalker himself, Maniac the Siouxpernatural, to see what he has been up to. If you don’t know anything about Maniac and/or missed our last Underground Spotlight, and you think you know wicked shit, you haven’t seen anything yet. Maniac can horrify and spook the devil himself. Not many know, but the devil prays to Maniac for help and guidance.

Recently moving to Eagle Butt, SD; Maniac has unfortunately been in the technological black ages, so he is working on shit the best he can at the moment. Most recently, his group with Tunnel Runner F. Dux added underground fan favorite, GrewSum to their roster, now making the new Daywalkers with F. Dux, Maniac the Siouxpernatural, and GrewSum. So far they have dropped one single off the new album (yet to be named) called HoBo With A Shotgun, and yours truly got the shit up on YouTube, so you all can enjoy it.

So juggalos, prepare for one of the most interesting and lyrically talented in the wicked shit game. Be advised that you may suffer from extreme night terrors after listening to some of the music provided. This is normal, but seek therapy immediately. Enjoy…

Artist: Maniac the Siouxpernatural
From: Eagle Butte, South Dakota
Rolls With: Night Shield Entertainment, Low Life Entertainment/Daywalkers

BeZerk: When I do these updated interviews, I usually like to start off with a few of the same questions just in case somebody missed the first interview. So, why did you choose the name Manaic the Siouxpernatural?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: The name Maniac was given to me after I was freestyling at party back in the day, Siouxpernatural was a name I took on as a way to stand out from the million other rappers named Maniac, and as a tribute to one of my favorite MC’s.

Maniac the Siouxpernatural

Maniac always has some kind of sick mask to stalk your dreams with.

BeZerk: Who do you consider as an inspiration?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Any MC that makes me step my shit up, the guys who invented OxyContin, and girls without STDs.

BeZerk: What’s you favorite Faygo flavor?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Rock N Rye

BeZerk: You make your own beats. Where do you come up with the inspiration for your instrumentals? Lots of drugs I’ll assume.

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Lots of old movies, horror, monster, Sci Fi, Kung Fu, when I make a beat I imagine it being the soundtrack to a movie in my head, the drugs are just a plus.

BeZerk: You also have some of the creepiest, sickest, horrific story telling horrorcore wicked shit in the entire underground. How do you come up with all of this shit?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Indian Ghost Tales that I heard as a kid. I heard many of them: the tall man, little people, the deer woman, thunder beings, the windigo, not many non-natives know these stories. So, I put them in my lyrics a lot, in the world there’s millions of ghost stories, on the Rez there’s so much stories, also lots of violence and murder here, the mic is the outlet.

BeZerk: You and F. Dux just added GrewSum to the Daywalkers. How did that come about?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: When Dux and I first met, we clicked immediately. We were already talking about making an album together the first day of kickin it. It’s rare for that click to happen; when we did Evile E’s Durty 30 in Charlotte, it was only the second Daywalkers show in history. GrewSum was there and everything just clicked again, considering Dux is in Carolina, Grew’s Iowa, and I’m in South Lakota, this albums gonna take time, but it will bring the apocalypse.

BeZerk: Speaking of the Daywalkers, when is the new album set to drop?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Honestly I think the guys are waiting on me, I’m on the rezervation like a barbarian with little technology and what not and seeing how I’m the main beat provider, it’s harder for me to send out tracks, sorry boys, it’s not me, it’s the liquor

©2007 Maniac the Siouxpernatural ParanormAl: The War Within. Excellent album full of some of the most wicked story telling raps you’ll hear in the underground.

BeZerk: Are you working on any more individual work, or are you focusing on the Daywalkers project at the moment?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: I have a new album I’m working on for Night Shield Ent. Called “Nightmares & Dreamscapes” that I was supposed to put out this year, but due to all the bullshit in my life we have pushed it back, so hopefully 2013. I’m also working on a group album called “Certified” which is me, Night Shield, Danny Boy, V The Noble 1 and Trey Lane which is scheduled to come out on February. Daywalkers is my soul however, and crafting that album is science, we could easily download a bunch of beats and spit some shit on them, but I don’t want no bullshit, this is witchcraft…

BeZerk: You and Night Shield are obviously close if you’re on his record label. How did you guys meet up and start working together?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Back when I was 18, my brother Derelict and I threw a big ass hip hop show in Rapid City. The goal was to get ALL South Dakotas rap crews to perform, Shield was one of them. He told me the next day he liked my music and my stage performance, and it’s been on ever since. The dude is a huge life changer; thanks to him I got on and been all over the country, but his whore addiction is crippling, and I pray to Lucipher he gets worse.

BeZerk: Who have you been able to work with, and who would you like to be able to work with in the future?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: I’ve worked with tons of peeps, my favorite collab however would be 2Mex of the Visionaries, it wasn’t his best verse, but I was a fan and my homie Shadowyze hooked that up, J Reno and Psycho Jesus was another even tho Psychos name got misspelled on the album credits (sorry), who would I like to work with?

To be honest, these underground cats talk way too much shit nowadays, and wanna charge mad loot for a feature, I can’t do it, I never paid for a verse in my life and I never will, but as of now, other than my boys, I’d like to get Killa Capone on a track, that Manson album was Godzilla, still bumpin it

BeZerk: What else do you have coming out? Any mixtapes, merch, music videos, etc set to drop?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: I can promise the world for eternity, but I’m gonna wait till the idea becomes physically in my hands to promote it.

BeZerk: When and where are your next few shows?

Maniac the Siouxpernatural: Unfortunately I will not be at Wicked Winters ball, as of right now, the only show I’m doing will be The Players Ball in Rosebud, SD, it’s at the end of November, that’s all I know, I’m done performing for the year other than that. I have a lot of bullshit going on here on my Rez with my family and what not so this is all that matters to me at the moment, but I’m still making new music everyday while I’m here, fa sho, I’m doin that fa shooooo
