Suburban Noize Records has decided to bring some of their artists together for a big tribute show in honor of the one and only Visual Assassin: PAKELIKA.  Next month, it will have already been 1 year since he passed (See our original article on this right here).

The show will happen at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA!  100% of proceeds will go to the Ohio State Asthma Center.  Who all has decided to donate their time and performances in remembrance of Big Pak?  How about BIG B, Potluck, DGAF, Middle Class Casualties, and Kali Connect?  Even (HED)P.E.‘s DJ Product will be spinning records between bands!  Who better to host the show than TAX MAN?

Suburban Noize Records Announces Pakelika Tribute Show On September 12th in Hollywood, CA With Performances By Big B, Potluck, DGAF, Middle Class Casualties, & Kali Connect

Suburban Noize Records is proud to announce a tribute show to honor the one year anniversary of the passing of Patrick Wesley Cochrun, a.k.a Pakelika The Visual Assassin, on Thursday September 12th at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. The show will be hosted by The Tax Man and feature performances by Big B, Potluck, DGAF, Middle Class Casualties, Kali Connect, and (Hed)p.e’s DJ product spinning throughout the night. Also planned in honor of Pakelika there will be a silent auction and showing of Pakelika memorabilia including pictures, stage clothes, masks, and more.

“On behalf of Pakelika’s family and friends I want to thank everyone for donating their time to make this show possible. It’s been almost a year since Pakelika has passed away and this will bring us all together for one evening to celebrate his life and memory, and raise money for a great cause,” said Suburban Noize president Kevin Zinger. “He blessed so many people, so it’s important to us to keep Pak’s spirit and memory alive. R.I.P Big Pak!”

“I’d like to say thanks all of his friends, family and fans, for all your love and support this past year,” added Patrick’s mother Julie. “My son meant so much to so many people, and this benefit will help raise funds so researchers can find a cure for this ailment that took Patrick away from us way too soon. Let’s celebrate Pakelika’s life and legacy at this benefit on September 12th and have some fun. Peace and love to you all. I’ll see you there.”

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Ohio State Asthma Center, which is the charity selected by the family of Patrick “Pakelika” Cochrun. The Asthma Center at OSU is one of the top rated asthma research facilities in the United States and the proceeds will help fund medical research, education, training, and patient care for those suffering from asthma.
