Juggalos! Juggalettes! What is up?! I’m back to bring you some more freshness that I wanted to get out a little sooner, but some shit has come up here and there, and I have been busy working all the friggin time to bring you guys cool shit like the BeZerk’s BURRR!!! It’s Cold Out Children’s Carhartt Giveaway !!!

Juggalos, a couple moths ago I met Mr. Westside while attending Lil C and Kila Capone’s wedding reception. I remember Chesty mentioning something about doing some designs for him on the ride there, but didn’t really expect to meet him, but maybe fate had it in store of us to meet.

At the reception, I decided to sit down with Jimmy Donn and his wife (who I’ve never actually spoke to until that night. Super cool chick. At least Jimmy doesn’t have to worry about some psycho bitch lol). At the table Mr. Westside, Jimmy Donn and his wife, KiNGPiN, Claire, Chesty, Oz and his new bride (and girlfriend of quite a while), and DyNasty’s mom I think. I’m not much of a talker, but the hotel had an open bar for who ever had a room key. So as the rockstar as I saw myself, I helped myself to as much White Eagle vodka and orange juice as I could get in an hour an a half (which was about 8). KP also knows of my fondness for opiates, so I may or may not have popped a few to make it a real party.

Chilling with Mr. WS for a bit, starting to lose consciousness, I remember before blacking out how cool, humble, and laid back Mr. Westside was. I was impressed by his personality, and though from his personality alone he’s fit the Underground Spotlight. Then I lost about 4 or 5 hours of recollection and ended up in the parking lot with Jimmy and his wife, Beverly of the SicChix and her new boyfriend, the managers of the hotel, I think Oz’s wife, and me. Still was kind of in a vague state. Remember talking shit to some bitches who acted like they were hot shit to me.

Well juggalos, this isn’t a reception story, this is a summary. Mr. Westside hooked me up with a few Mp3’s, and I can see why he’s been able to do so much on stage. From working with the SicFux to Tanq Loc’s Heated Muzic/Madesicc Music and many many many many more lol, Mr. Westside is going to bust into the scene big when he drops his mixtape “SUMTHANG 2 SMOKE 2 sak 1 nic edition.”

Sorry Juggalocaros and ‘locarettes if I seem a little Minnesota bias when it comes to music, but our music scene is actually quite underrated, and sometimes it’s nice to give back to the music scene of my state. Mr. Westside is one of those artists that’s going to be underrated in Minnesota and around for a while, then catch on to the underground scene and make a strong foundation in it.

Well juggalos, the last update I’d like to give you in on the giveaway. October’s winner, Chesty’s little bro Tiny, has his Carhartt purchased, and it should be delivered to him within the week. You still have time to get your entry in for the kid you know in need of a really really good coat (seriously, after the final cost of everything, these coats are coasting me like $100 a piece). I also have a second giveaway to anyone who donates any new, slightly used, or decent conditioned coats (adult or child). Anyone who enters in that will be entered in a contest to win a vintage Twiztid blazer sent to me from Twiztid themselves. It’s really good and of awesome quality. This is like the first merch they released since going independent too, so it’s going to be an important piece of merch, and I don’t even want to part with it lol.

People have been asking me why I’m doing this giveaway. It’s simple, and I want you guys to LISTEN UP if you’re reading this. You should always try to give back if you can in any way that you can.

With that being said juggalos, I bring this to a conclusion. Time for me to go bring my beautiful girlfriend’s wildest dreams come true. Juggalos, I’m seriously in love lol. So, now that I got to dip… enjoy…

BeZerk: Why did you choose the name Mr. Westside?

Mr. WS: I chose the name Mr.Westside because this is in my blood. My family is in the Minnesota historic/historian book for being one of the first families to live on the west from the beginning (back when the the west was known as the Westside flats and there was nothing but beet farms and beet farm workers). I come from a hard working bloodline, and I’m proud and take pride in that. So I choose  the name (mr.ws) is just me being loyal to my family and soil.

BeZerk: Who do you consider as an inspiration?

Mr. WS: Who do I consider as an inspiration? Hmmm… the easy answer would be my momma, but I’m surounded by a good circle of people who do nothing but inspire me; not just in music but in life itself.

BeZerk: What is your favorite Faygo flavor?

Mr. WS: Damn… That’s a hard one lol…I cant just choose one lol. I mess with the red pop, grape, orange, and orange pineapple.

BeZerk: You’ve been doing music for years. How long have you been doing music for, and what is your favorite part?

Mr. WS: I’ve been doing music now for about 14yrs now. I started rapping when I was 12yrs old, and I’m 26 years old now lol. I’ve always been involved with music since I was a lil guy.  I was a ham, and liked to do talent show and perform for my family as I was growing up. I was a big Micheal Jackson fan …still am until this day. I grew up in a house that had nothing but music playing . Whether it was my momma and auntie listening to Motown or something funky, my cousin Kimmie watching MTV Yo Raps, or my grandparents playing that old Mexican music; there was music coming from somewhere in the house lol. My favorite part about doing this is being able to share/perform my music, see people enjoying it, and as even go as far as dance to it .

BeZerk: What do you think makes you unique from other artists?

Mr. WS: I think what makes me unique from other artist is my personality.  Like anyone can say what I say, but they can’t say it or give it the same meaning or put the same emotion into it like me. After listening to my music, you don’t have to know me personally to see or get what kind of person I am. Plus, there’s the fact I have no music, but is making noise /impact just off of doing shows and tours. Soooo… lol

BeZerk: What do you have coming up? Any CDs, mixtapes, music videos, merch, etc in the works?

Mr. WS: I just finished up my first solo mixtape called “SUMTHANG 2 SMOKE 2 sak 1 nic edition.” I didn’t have a release date on that because I’m waiting on a few collabos to get sent back and CD cover art work. I have started working on my second solo mixtape called “BLUNTS & KOOL-AID.” I’ll have release dates for both CDs soon. I’m in the process now of getting shirt made. When the merch is complete, I’ll throw them up online (when the web page is finished). Now that I’m making some kind of noise, we are updating everything.  I haven’t really been worried about music videos at the moment, until I had things right and in order, but once my shit’s good, I’d like to hit Jimmy Donn up for a video. His shits cold and the prices are right. I already have an idea who I wanna go thru so I havent been worried about it.

Shout out again to the Bride Lil C and Groom Killa Capone. It was an honor to be there. Oh and that bacon at breakfast was on point lol!!!!
