Are you a Juggalo in the Detroit area? Maybe you’ll be traveling into town for either Twiztid‘s Twiztmas party on December 6th or ICP‘s Big Ballas party on December 20th. Either way, I’ve got another stop that you need to make while you’re in or around Detroit. An artist out of the UK named Lucy Owen has an art exhibit that’s opening up on Friday, December 5th. That night is a grand opening, so it will be more of a party than anything! The exhibit is called Where the Juggalo Roam.
You might have also been to some Fright Fest shows and been handed a flyer that looks like this:
It’s the same person! So you should go by the art exhibit, check it out, and help support what she’s doing. Here’s a little more info about the opening:
At last! EXCITING NEWS!! I will be showing my work at Start Gallery in Downtown Detroit. The opening night is on Friday 5th December 6pm-10pm. It is going to be a big event with other art and design openings happening at the same time, like an art block party. I would love to see all of you there – don’t forget to bring your flyers, Juggalos! The exhbition will stay up until 20th December, so if you have to miss out on the opening you don’t have to miss out completely.
Spread the word and invite your friends – the more the merrier!
The gallery can be seen at the following location starting on Friday night, December 5th:
206 E Grand River
Detroit, MI 48226
