Twiztid releases “KILL SOMEBODY” Music Video!

Minutes ago, we received an email containing a press release and a new Twiztid video for their track “Kill Somebody” from the upcoming release: The Continuous Evilution of Life’s ?s!

Juggalos…if you’ve seen Jamie Madrox and Monoxide all painted up and wicked looking and think THAT looks ridiculously fresh, then you haven’t seen anything yet!

During that hours-long photo shoot, they decided that they looked too dope to not do something else with it.  So they shot this music video and edited it up, and have a wicked-as-fuck product to show for it!

Before I post the press release and everything, I’ll go ahead and show you the video itself.  Check it out:

Fucking crazy dope, right??  Now you can read the details of how it all came together, get tour dates, links to pre-order the new album, and more in the release below:

TWIZTID Celebrate Friday the 13th with New Music Video for “Kill Somebody”

New Full-Length Album The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s out January 27, 2017

Pre-Orders Available Now via www.TwiztidShop.com

Chart-topping diabolic duo TWIZTID will unleash their upcoming 12th release, entitled The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s, on January 27, 2017. In celebration of the upcoming release and today’s horrific holiday, Friday the 13th, TWIZTID have revealed their brand new music video for “Kill Somebody”, a track originally released exclusively to fans as an instant grat with the new album iTunes pre-order. Watch the slasher-ific video for “Kill Somebody” now via www.Twiztid-Shop.com and the duo’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Twiztid.

Those aren’t cartoons of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide that you see in the “Kill Somebody” video (and on the new album art, below) – that’s real, painted body art, meticulously applied to TWIZTID by celebrated make-up/FX artist Kay Pike, who has worked with the likes of Marvel and Disney and has been featured by the New York Times, Self Magazine, The Huffington Post and several other top-tier publications. Check out Pike’s remarkable work via her Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages.

“I still can’t get over how cool this video turned out. It’s definitely a great way to usher in a new era of TWIZTID,” states Jamie Madrox. Monoxide adds, “Yeah, and I bared my naked breasts for this! NIPS AND ALL! You’d better fuckin’ like it!”

“Kill Somebody” was directed by Josh Ulrich and E. Wolf, with editing by Ryan Archibald. The track was produced by longtime TWIZTID producer Seven.

If you think this video is fun, you won’t want to miss TWIZTID‘sofficial CD release party and performance, taking place at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA on January 27 and featuring support from G-Mo Skee and Gorilla Voltage. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the event is open to all ages. VIP packs are available for purchase now and include a meet & greet with TWIZTID, a The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s CD, a poster, bandana, 2017 Majik Ninja Entertainment calendar, and more – including special VIP access to a private listening party at a secret location on January 26! Get your tickets via www.ticketweb.com and VIP packs via www.TwiztidShop.com.

The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s is TWIZTID‘s second release via their own Majik Ninja Entertainment label and pre-orders are available now via www.TwiztidShop.com and everywhere music is sold.

Out of The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s 12 all new tracks – which swerve seamlessly between rap and rock – four tracks feature a clear heavy rock influence; a crossover genre that TWIZTID has successfully dabbled in for over a decade. Those four tracks were produced by famed goth rock frontman Davey Suicide and his keyboardist Needlz. Drums on the tracks were performed by Drayven of Static-X and Davey Suicide fame. The first single from The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?‘s, entitled “Nothing To You” – which was released in October – could easily be considered TWIZTID‘s full foray into hard rock territory. Listen here.

Every song off this album has been meh so far. Very phoned in and clearly aiming for a new target audience.

I haven’t heard the other song, but with this one I can’t see where you’re getting the bit about finding a new audience. Whether or not they’re aware of it, this track wears its influences on it’s sleeve. I’m sure it would be to Twiztid’s chagrin if they realized how much of the song structure, from the beat to Monoxide’s meandering, conversational flow, is evocative of early ICP.

I can’t be sure what they’re trying to accomplish with demographics but this song has Juggalo DNA.

Other than the dope paint, it’s basically a goofy ass ICP video. And the beat definitely sounds like an older ICP beat.

If you were essential in making juggalos who and what they are today (gang banging murderers) and your only job is to tour and make music and could EASILY set aside 1 date to stand up for the people that pay your bills… Then yes you don’t matter.

Between the hyper shakey hand-held camera and the jump-cuts I never got a good look at Jamies battle jacket. I’m trying to see what patches he has on it. Can anyone read them or get a readable screenshot?

Song isn’t bad. But to me it sounds like something that was left off of W.I.C.K.E.D. I am digging the body art tho.
