Questions Wanted for D-Lyrical (from Intelligence & Violence)

This has been a LONG time coming!  A ninja named Bobby put us in touch with the one and only D Lyrical of Intelligence & Violence fame.  D-Lyrical was surprised to hear that Psychopathic Records pressed up several hundred copies of Intelligence & Violence, and spoke on it in the comments of some random Youtube video.  Bobby hit him up and got to talking to him, and decided to get in touch with us about it!

So here’s where we are…a week from tomorrow we’ll have a telephone interview with D-Lyrical!  I know that for a lot of Juggalos, only what was said about D-Lyrical in Violent J‘s book Behind The Paint is the extent of their knowledge of him.  So, we’re gonna get a bit of a history lesson!

If you have any questions for him, comment below, or hit me up directly at [email protected] with subject: D-Lyrical Interview!  We’re really looking forward to this going down next weekend!

Question for D-Lyrical: After recording Intelligence and Violence, and knowing Violent J in the Inner City Posse era, how did you react when the Dark Carnival was born and Insane Clown Posse began?

What did he think of Violent J back then? Like, what kinda kid/dude was he? He seemed kinda intense. But of course the only description we have of J back then, is also from J.

I actually misspoke on this. He spoke on it in the comments of some random youtube video. He didn’t post a video himself. The post has been corrected.

    I have a question for D Lyrical.

“Did you ever release a solo album after ICP? For some reason I have a memory of being in my school computer lab in the late 90’s when it first got internet. I have a memory of going to ubl.com (ultimatebandlist) and finding a cd of a D Lyrical standing next to a fancy hot rod on the cover. Was that you? Was it another D Lyrical? If it was you, can you tell us anything about it?”

    Not the same one. :)

D-lyrical is from Santa Ana CA Ex- manager to Mr. Vic Rapper from Santa Ana. S. A. Mob lost and added members down the line and decided to form Stainless Steel. The producer of this song is a very talented guy that goes by the name of Chris Gunns , he and D-Lyrical went there seperate ways. After that, Chris Gunns went to San Diego to produce for SD heavy-hitter Knightowl. The following Knightowl album featured a song called “Who Do You Think That Your Fucking With?” (The Wicked West album

Question for D: What went on in your life after making I & V. Did you ever seriously try your hand at the rap game? Do you still rap- even as a hobby?

Man In Magenta Wig DO NOT DELETE. Theres an annoying glitch on Gangsta Times and they put tracks 2 and 3 in the wrong order
