MNE’s “Year of the Sword” Billboard Numbers Revealed

Wow. I gotta say that no matter what the Billboard numbers say, this album was absolutely the bomb. I’m talking about “Twiztid Presents: Year of the Sword.” The first compilation album dropped from Majik Ninja Entertainment. Every artist that suddenly popped onto a track and made that first big entrance onto the album was dope as hell. I honestly hope they follow up with another “Year of…” album next year. But this isn’t an album review.

Let’s check out the numbers.

  • #3 on the Top Independent Albums Chart
  • #81 on the Top 200 Albums Chart
  • #34 on the Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums Chart
  • #25 on the Top Rap Albums Chart

Very dope! Honestly better than I was expecting for a compilation album. Congrats to those Majik Ninjas!

If you haven’t, pick up the album, ninja. I suggest a website I shop at called Twiztid-Shop.com

This is definitely one of the better compilations I’ve heard in awhile. Production value was very good on this. Everyone was on top of their game.

^^^I agree, production was on fuckin point! Thought the beats were really good (on most songs). It has me hype for that Larz album. Gordy merked any and everything he was on..

I actually was surprised how good this album is. I’m glad I picked up a physical copy too cuz even tho the gmo lex gv and Boondox solo tracks kinda suck, there’s some real bangers on there like Blaze’s “the trunk” and Amb’s Grindin (2nd version)

Um…HahahaWooo, I distinctly remember ICP putting up the Billboard numbers too when 2 Dope’s new album numbers were up. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with either side being proud of their work, especially when the underground causes that much hype.

Pretty sure ICP and psychopathic, as well as affiliated news websites such as faygoluvers.net have always released the billboard chart numbers on their major releases for 15+ years now.
