LARS Drops New Music Video for “Lit” via XXL

The homies Bizarre and King Gordy have put out a music video for their LARS project that looks like it was a fucking blast to make!

The track is called “Lit”, and it’s from their forthcoming self-titled LP.

Along with the music video, we received a press release where you can find out more about the group, the album (which drops February 16th), a track list, pre-order links, and more!  Take a look at the press release and music video below:

LARS (Bizarre of D12 & King Gordy) Drop New Music Video and Single “Lit”

New Album, Last American Rock Stars,out February 16, 2018 | Pre-Order Here

LARS,a.k.a. the LAST AMERICAN ROCK STARS – featuring rap icon Bizarre of D12 fame and Detroit horrorcore shock rapper King Gordy – are about to own 2018. LARS will release their debut full-length album, Last American Rock Stars, on February 16, 2018 via expanding Detroit-based rap label Majik Ninja Entertainment. The long-awaited, highly-anticipated album is available for pre-order here via major digital retailers, or in several exclusive physical format merch bundles at www.MNEStore.com.

Last American Rock Stars is as eclectic and wild as the duo behind it – featuring 13 all new tracks exploring genres all over the map – like the smooth throwback R&B-inspired jam “Cocaine in Miami”, the addictive reggae anthem “Ganja Man”, aggressive club bangers like “Lit”, and more.

After dropping a mixtape last fall that spawned their breakout track “L.A.R.S.“, the duo is following up with the premiere of “Lit”. The video is just that – depicting LARS living out true rock star visions and raging hard at an unruly metal show. It doesn’t take long before King Gordy gets into some serious trouble. Watch the video now, exclusively via XXL: http://www.xxlmag.com/video/2018/01/l-a-r-s-lit-video/

King Gordy says: “This is the new single from the sickest rappers on earth. Prepare to get your nose broken to this!”

Last American Rock Stars track listing:

LARS signed to expanding independent rap label Majik Ninja Entertainment last summer after recording demos at the label’s studio with renowned Detroit rap producer Foul Mouth. After label owners TWIZTID heard the demos and saw the immediate potential in the project, there was no question in their minds that they had to sign LARS. The duo spawned from the same neighborhood in Detroit that both members grew up in (King Gordy was even featured in the famed Detroit-based movie 8 Mile starring Eminem). TWIZTID has been tight with LARS for years, having recorded tracks together and even performing together in Atlanta earlier this year.

LARS are truly the Last American Rock Stars and the final act of a dying breed – rappers who truly lived and thrived in the last era of true rock stars in America.

One of the better tracks I’ve heard from this group so far. Still fairly forgettable though…

Lmao. No hate towards the artists, but LARS is probably the worst rap group acronym/name in the entire history of music. I’m gonna start a band called Destruction Allows Vengeance Inside Democracy. But we will call ourselves DAVID. Genius.

It’s a solid song. I don’t see what the complaint would be other than that Bizarre didn’t add anything to it. But he didn’t take anything away from it either. He’s there and always gonna be there as long as we’re talking about L.A.R.S.

funny, In the interview with one of them they said it was GEORGE who heard the music and loved it so initiated the whole signing of LARS, not twiztid, all articles about MNE seem to be fabricated in some way, twiztid phoney as hell.

Bizarre and his very public beef with Joe Buddens as of late should net the project some additional attention.
