Late last night, I unfortunately got hit up by my homie Justin aka “Happy” about the passing of a Juggalo named Rob Pingel.  Rob was part of the TMFC (Too Much Fun Crew).  If you’ve ever seen all of the pink flamingos at the Gathering, then you know who I’m referring to.

He was already making plans for next year’s Gathering, and unfortunately he was tragically taken from us in a fatal car accident.   To give you a brief synopsis of how much he meant to everyone, here’s a post from Facebook from his homie Collin.

I don’t know how to start this post honestly so I’m just gonna say it, tonight we found out some devastating news about our friend Rob Pingel. He was in a fatal car accident late last night. He was with a friend, they collided with a semi, and both were lost. That’s all we know about the accident at this time. He was my best friend’s boyfriend and our first Colorado friend. He was one of the most fun-loving and interesting people I’ve ever met. His hilarious sense of humor and wild card antics have been a staple of our little crew. We’ve had so many great memories in the past 4 years. It’s not fair. He had so much life ahead of him. Rest in Shangri La, Rob. We will miss you so much.

In closing, Happy had this to say about Rob:

Just that he was a great guy that always had an open ear and a kind word. Epitomized the word Juggalo and love.
