59fifty hats will go out of style when baseball goes out of style. Also I’m sure MNE is paying around $20-$30 per hat from new era so the $45 price tag is expected. Unless they are getting some insider deal.

$45 is a very fair price. The hat quality is as good as you’re gonna get. A fitted with normal brim would get my $45 all day.

^Are they 59fifty’s sized specifically like these? If so, I highly doubt you paid under $40. Unless you got them at the stadium and they were running a sale.
I don’t get why people think pricing for these hats is a rip-off. They’re essentially made to order due to the various sizes they could be, hence the pre-order.

@Jake Jeckel Word, I stand corrected then. I tend to think the deal the NFL (or MLB) has with New Era is slightly different than whatever deal Twiztid may have… Therefore, I still say $50 (with shipping) is a fair price.

When any artist has released a new era 59 fifty they have been similar price. They are probably making $15 per hat in profit when they sell them. These hats are not cheap. Old versions will sell cheaper. Go to the source and look how much the brand new designs are on neweracap.com

Yes. The NFL works on the principle of fast food economics. They get the hats for 30 and flip them for 35. Not much of a profit margin, but it doesn’t matter because they know they will sell tens of millions of them. With Twiztid, they’re basically buying custom hats and flipping them for a profit of 15. Sounds like they’re money whoring, but it’s really because they’re only looking to sell a couple thousand, so they want it to be worth their time. Makes sense to me.
