Freddy Grimes has revealed on Twitter that he has parted ways with Native World Inc.
This news was revealed in a tweet that also announced that he will no longer be apart of the upcoming “The Wake 2” tour.

Sorry to anybody wanting to see me on this Oct tour… we just couldn't come to an agreement on the terms. Hope the tour goes good for the fellaz but i won't be on it or affiliated with NWI any longer. Time to move fwd and keep growing

Yeah I saw this at the end of September. From the sounds of it, Mad V is working on a case to take ABK to court over not being paid. He also said ABK is on Psychopathic “for now”, and has to basically beg MNE to put him on at their shows.

That makes sense. ShapeShifter has been on their back burner for years, and he was not included in Loony Goons for whatever reason. They’re clearly not doing much for the guy at this point.

Yeah, he even said for whatever reason the clowns won’t do shit with ABK anymore. I see that being more Billy than anyone. But shit Big Hoodoo has been on the back burner since Crystal Skull, since it took 3 years for Asylum and had to be all financially done by BH, and the weekly songs he was working on was almost done and then at the last GOTJ he said J heard some songs and wanted to make it a album cuz it sounded so dope. I guarantee, like Blaze Ya Dead Homie, he will only release an album every 3 years while on Psychopathic Records.

He still appears at shows and events they put on, what are you talking about, he’s just not closely riding with Psy like the rest of the label. You act as if its weird for someone to take 3 years to make an album, thats a pretty standard length of time for an artist to make an album. I hate pushy fans who if they dont get an album every 2 years on the dot from their favourite artist they start complaining, its normal to take around 3 years goddamn.

I was referring to Hoodoo, since Jake Jeckel had just said that it took 3 years to make Asylum, as if that’s abmormal or lazy or something to take that long to drop an album.

Maybe. Maybe I have been spoiled by the other artists I listen to that don’t take that long, maybe a year and a half to 2 years. Asylum was well worth the 3 year wait. I just don’t want to see him go to the back burner.

8 years since the last major major album by ABK, with Shapeshifter Prelude only to count in the midst of it all, which was actually pretty damn good after finally giving it a listen recently. Miss the days of Dirty History, Mud Face and Medicine Bag though. =/

That’s pretty much the boat I’m in. Like, we’re getting a new album basically every month from somebody I like which is awesome, but I want to hear new Killa and Hoodoo. And yes, 3 years isn’t that bad, but I would love for it to be less time as would a lot of others. The Killa Features mixtapes were good, but just release this fuckin album already. Either bite the bullet and let him release it with the YW production, or let him release it through Native World. What’s Young Wicked done wrong lately anyway?
