Keeping with a recent tradition, we’ve discovered that Twiztid will once again be releasing a 7″ vinyl of new material in celebration of Record Store Day! That is going to be dropping on Black Friday, November 23rd.
This year the track is a Seven remix of the recently released online-only single “Splitinthispaint” which we’ve also heard is a track that’s going to be featured on Twiztid’s upcoming 2019 album The Nightmare Children.
The one confusing thing I’m seeing however is that the cover of the vinyl says “Splitinthispaint (Seven Remix)” but the tracklisting states:
Side A: Because I’m A Monster
Side B: Here with the Dead
“Because I’m A Monster” is something they say in the track Splitinthispaint so maybe that’s the name of the remix? I guess we’ll have to wait and see what that’s all about.

I might get this. The last Twiztid album I bought was 2013’s A new nightmare. It was a decent EP. I haven’t really liked much of anything Twiztid has done since W.I.C.K.E.D. However, I really enjoyed that here with the dead track . If The Nightmare Children sounds like that I’ll definitely pick it up!

I don’t mind the idea of these single vinyls, I think they’re fun to collect. But I do wish they put a download card in them for the songs that are ONLY on these. Like the “Dead And Gone” remix and this Seven remix here, I don’t have a record player (yet), and the tracks aren’t available to get anywhere else, so I’m kinda screwed.
