Why does the first guy sound like Lyte?

In fact, when did every other underground rapper start sounding and rapping the exact same?
I thought it was only mainstream artist that recycled a sound or style until it was unbearable!
Now it’s bled to the underground it seems.

The double time shit has seriously run it’s coarse, Bone..Twista..the Fushnickas..fuck, even the micro machine man’s like stop it, we can’t take this generic use of our style anymore.

This shit sounds like every other underground song before, and unfortunately, after it. Just blah.

Be creative and stop fucking beating a dead horse. Stand out instead of fitting in. The underground is music’s last hope at artistic freedom, so show so diversity for fucks sake.

I wasn’t disappointed by it, but it also didn’t wow me. Not anything I haven’t heard before.

I actually think Mr. Grey had some really good stuff before Gorilla Voltage, if you listen to any of his solo albums. And I like Clockworc better when he isn’t doing his barely comprehensible style. Thought he was pretty solid on the YOTS collaboration album.

Not too much evolution in their style. I wouldnt be able to tell any of their eras part from the next. Maybe twiztid spoiled me in that sense. No 2 LPS sounded the same. Definitely talented dudes but they need to dig a bit deeper in the old tool shed.
