Is Twiztid Releasing a Deluxe Edition of Abominationz on CD?

While scrolling through Facebook looking for the next interesting thing to read I saw that Twiztid had put out a post promoting their HOK vinyl collection on Amazon. Check that out HERE. On that post, and I don’t think this was intentional (maybe), there’s an ad for a Deluxe edition of Twiztid’s 2012 album Abominationz.

Check out the link to the release on Amazon by CLICKING HERE.

You can check out the the screen shot of what I saw on my Facebook page below.

If you hit up the link, you’ll see there’s no track list but we do see that it’s being released through Majik Ninja Entertainment on CD and will be released on January 25th, 2019.

Bam, ninja!

I’m really excited to see what other tracks will be on the release. I’m assuming we’re going to getting both Sux 2 B U and Return of the Pervert, but fingers crossed it’ll come with more than that! Or I’m completely wrong and it’ll come with a bomb-ass bonus DVD. We’ll just have to wait and see what makes this deluxe edition deluxe!

Keep your eyes peeled for an official word from Twiztid.

Arguably their best album, my personal favorite. I could see it having both exclusive tracks, obviously. Maybe some B-Sides and/or remixes of some of them. Either way, It’s interesting that this album of all their back catalog is getting the deluxe treatment before something like Mostasteless or Freek Show, but I’m not complaining.

Don’t Psy own the rights to Abominationz?

I was wondering the same thing. They gave twiztid some of there catalog to play the gathering and other things but I didn’t think this was one of them. And to the other guy I don’t think Psy gave them the rights to mostasteless or freekshow which is why they don’t do deluxe versions. I will say this album was there last really good one. I haven’t liked anything they did on MNE yet.

Exactly no way they gave them the rights to Abominationz, Twiztid couldn’t blackmail that one outta Psy. And you’re right they don’t own the rights to Freekshow or Mostastless either. Abominationz was definitely killer.

No icp gave twiztid the masters to abominationz and mostastless and probably more I forget, and they gave them the masters cuz that was the only way to get twitzid to come and play at the gathering.. every year they wanted another master. Eventually violent j said no more masters and they stopped coming to the gathering.

Nope Jimmy, not Abominationz, or Mostasteless, is you on crack man? And probably more you forgot?? What else did you forget? Everything to do with Twiztid? Cos they never owned the rights to those albums, They’ve only been payed ONCE to do the gathering with a master.

Maybe I misunderstood what violent j said on the “tell all interview” *faygoluvers exclusive* check it out at about the 1h:23m mark but he said twiztid would only do dark lotus with them if they gave them a master for one of their albums he didn’t say which one.. but I forget they played wizard of the hood. My bad dick face. You never misunderstood something before?

I have misunderstood things before, That’s why there was no name calling towards you in my reply, lighten up main. But you’re right one master was for making the last Lotus album, and the other for the wizard of the hood gathering. I believe the 2 albums they officially obtained off Psy were Mutant and Greenbook, most likely the 2 lowest selling albums by Twiztid.

Wouldn’t they have needed masters in order to put out vinyl editions? I was under the impression those would be necessary to have the highest quality audio, and if that’s the case, they would have them for Mostasteless, Freek Show, Green Book, Mutant Vol. 2, and Abominationz, plus Blaze’s debut EP. I could be completely wrong, though

Yea, but the Mostasteless vinyl they released is the original edition, not the rerelease.

Straightedge they don’t need to own the masters if they just simply steal them, which I’m pretty sure is the case, they’re just stealing them and hoping not to get sued.

Yes Psy did it with Rydas which I always thought was shady as fuck, but when Psy stole those beats it wasn’t from people who were once close friends, yada mean?

That was my other guess is they probably are stealing and think icp won’t say anything cuz they could just say icp stole too. Somebody ask them in their tours lol and my bad for being wrong.. go ahead and tell me when I’m wrong.. but you don’t gotta be a dick

Didn’t think I was being a dick homeboy, was just disagreeing with what you originally said. Although I don’t think Twiztids reasoning in court (if they were sued) would be “well ICP did it too” I think it’s more because they know ICP aren’t the sueing type, ICP have often spoke about how they think it’s a bitch move to sue someone.

Right exactly.. only sue the FBI but for juggalo’s sake. Sorry for getting all upset earlier lmao. so it was mutant and green book? I can agree with probably not the greatest twiztid cds

Haha yeah I didn’t think of the FBI thing, I guess I mean more on a business level where as the FBI classification was about much more than business, like it’s pretty obvious ICP isn’t going to sue Twiztid even if they do hate eachother and Twiztid is stealing their shit. I actually really liked both Mutant and Green book, but in terms of sales I can see them being lower sellers, especially Mutant since it was a rock album sorta.

What they *need* to do is release the title track without ICP.

ICP (particularly J) almost always ruin whatever features they’re on, but they haven’t tanked my enjoyment of a song they featured on this badly since Wickit Clowns

Should also do 2nd to No 1 without Shaggy’s lame intro into it. A lot of ICP features seem overly forced.

Comment posted on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 06:07 pm GMT -5 at 6:07 pm

That 2nd to no1 intro is a little lame, my theory is Psy or ICP heard it, thought it sounded a little bit too much like they were saying Twiztid is not 2nd to ICP so Shaggy jumped on it to clarify the title referring to Psy as a label, but I highly doubt that was Twiztids intention.

This is arguably one of the most underrated hip hop albums of the last two decades. And the bonus tracks were practically singles – Sux 2 B U is the jam.

I kinda wonder if they’re rereleasing abominationz deluxe cuz psy gets all the money when people buy the original, which makes me think maybe they’ll make deluxe’s of all their psy albums.
