First we got the information that Drive-By’s “Back On Da Block” would be getting the vinyl treatment this March and now we have more info regarding music dropping from the group.
At the very first show of Drive-By’s Juggalo Unity Tour, we got the lowdown from Anybody Killa and Blaze Ya Dead Homie themselves about some news I definitely wasn’t expecting.
Apparently within a week/a few weeks, we’ll be getting a brand new album released digitally!

ABK: Brand new album coming soon. Drive-By. Very soon. Like in weeks. Weeks. Weeks!
Blaze: Check iTunes in about a week. It’s gonna be there. So if you can’t find it in a physical, you gonna find that muthfucka on iTunes.
ABK: And you thought you were only getting one song. Surprise, motherfucker!

Didn’t know Twiztid was supposed to be involved. But I do agree. Pony Down has like 3 decent tracks, but it’s too simplistic and boring to keep my attention. Back On Da Block was leagues better.

But I imagine the new album will be released via Native World Inc. and Grundy Entertainment. And Killa has said that he has Possessed and Shapeshifter ready to go, but they are perfect the way they are, and he won’t change anything on them (which he has indicated Psychopathic wants him to do). But when I last talked to him, he said he had a EP and new album that was gonna come out on PSY, but that was in October 2017, so who knows now.

@StraightEdgeJuggalo: Yes, you’re right, Young Wicked, Eric Davie, Joe Strange, DJ Chop and a few others that Psychopathic Records had worked with in the past, that they no longer do now. He name’s them off in his September 2017 interview with Replicon Radio. And @iINhaleCHENtrails to me ABK has been dope. Hatchet Warrior and Medicine Bag were his best works imo. To me he hasn’t put a lot of effort in his music (like what people have said ICP has done since Hell’s Pit), no real emotion feeling the hype threw the music, just go in record and call it good. I think with Triple Features he’s started getting back to that old style, and from what I’ve heard from Shapeshifter it’s like a pissed off “I’m Coming for what’s mine, and I’m steam rolling threw anyone that gets in my way” ABK. But I will say ABK is better live than his music has been these last few years. But it is nice to get some new music from him. Now let’s see if we get Tha Hav Knots album.
