ICP’s “Fearless Fred Fury” Hits #44 on the Billboard Top 200

It’s been a little over a week since the latest Joker’s Card, Fearless Fred Fury was unveiled to the world!  The numbers have been tallied, and it was just announced that the album debuted at Number 44 on the Billboard Top 200!

Billboard tweeted that out just minutes ago, and I’m sure the other charts will be updated by tomorrow at the latest.  Check the tweet here:

The album had no features, No advertisements just one radio spot that i know of. ICP needs to expand their audience if they want to make more bank. They have settled and lost touch from the hustle from when they were younger.

The beats sucked aside from Fury and “Fite back” with DJ fucking Paul and it wasn’t even on the album!

Congrats to ICP on charting and starting a new era for the second deck! This is my favorite card from the second deck thus far!

Wrong. MNE puts a spin on their chart numbers. They just mention subcategories like “independent” “rap” and “heatseekers” but rarely report the overall top 200 because they don’t chart there.

So just order it, they’ll ship anywhere. It’s probably hard to fill stores in a whole nother country… move to America then… the right way.

Ima be completely honest: charting is impressive, but I really thought they would hit much higher than 44. With all the interviews and promoting they were doing online, it’s not like they were unknown.

And before anyone says “they don’t give a shit about charting high”, stop. Look at their PledgeMusic campaign; they flat out say they’re trying to hit #1. Mind you, ain’t nobody received their merch from PledgeMusic yet (still waiting on my signed FFF/Flip albums and posters), but that’s neither here nor there.

Not hating, so don’t bother. FFF ain’t their best work, but I enjoy nearly the entire album. Just my opinion.

You’re pointing out that MNE doesn’t have an album on Billboard when they haven’t released something since mid-January? FFF will plummet down the list by next week, if it even stays up there. Underground artists will always have a good showing when their album drops because the diehard fans are grabbing it right then and there. This isn’t shit-talking, this is literally what happens.

But if you wanna make it about who charted higher, we can point out that the last Twiztid album was nearly 20 spots better on the Billboard Top 200 than FFF.

Now I’ll wait patiently for someone to call me a Twizzler even though I support both.

No one I know personally who used to be down actually bought the album, most people will just listen for free online these days.

I’m still waiting on my order to arrive…

But the last MNE album to hit the top 200 was Boondox’s The Murder from 2 years ago. And how many albums have been put out, by how many substantial underground artists since then on MNE? Whenever ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, ABK, Boondox release an album it’s just a safe bet that it’ll hit the 200. But looking at the chart spots from this deck (4, 4, 17, 136, 44) it’s safe to say they won people back from Lost/Found. Now if they keep it up, and build off of this they’ll be back up there. But Imma just say anymore it’s hard for Twiztid to make a song (maybe an album) without coming back to take a subliminal shot at PSY/ICP, which seems to be their foundation for a lot of things they do, but it’s cool, they can’t say it’s in the past and were in the present so what was done is done. And name the last time a PSY or MNE album stayed in the 200 for more than a week? And with the modern day buying everything on the internet, I haven’t been able to find PSY or MNE in any store around me in almost 5 years. Don’t say that they don’t hustle if most stores don’t do physical albums, at least that’s how it is around me, no FYE, no Hastings, Best Buy (don’t do CD’s), Hot Topic (around here the owner HATES ICP). So like I said, in the world of streaming and buying off the internet they’re going with what’s more popular. So is MNE.

Year Of The Sword charted, and that was December 2017. Just over a year ago.

I did not buy the album. From WTF and Fury, I could tell this album was not for me. After the MML albums (complete shit, my opinion) I decided to wait and not buy the album. I am glad I did not, after listening to it on YouTube, it is just to preachy for me. Where is the clown stuff or Faygo in the songs? If I had one thing to like, it would be Shaggy having some good parts but that is it. VJ what happened to you? I would say MCL but I don’t feel it any more. Down since ’97 but now? Not so much. I mean no disrespect for the people liked the album.

They evolve after every album.. they will not make an album that sounds the same as another. If the people that love FFF (I’m one) are expecting the same shit for the next album (I’m not) they’re in for a big surprise. Maybe the next one will be country sounding lmao fuck that… FFF sounds harder because it’s about standing up for yourself maybe the next one will be softer…. it depends on the joker card… they bring out the character in whatever joker card…… obviously the marvelous missing link was gonna be soft since it’s about having faith…. that’s all that matters is that they give the correct character of the joker card.

Wasn’t the country album basically C.O.C.? For some reason that’s what I associate it with, maybe cuz I listened to Red Neck Hoe the most lol. But that’s true, but I do have to say I think that they are doing a “what’s more acceptable wicked” instead of a “I don’t care who has a problem with it wicked” if that makes sense. And I think that has to do with who they’re partnered with and not stepping on toes. Cuz I remember the whole SNL situation and Twiztid wanted to pop back, but J said no cuz of the people they were associated with were also associated with the people from SNL, or something like that. I think people have to accept J & Shaggy won’t put anyone on blast anymore. I mean, look at TAJB, Gene Simmons, Michael Eisner, Dali Lama, Beastie Boys, so on and so on then really the next time came with aside from the Eminem beef, was TMDP!, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga (more or less indirectly), the only other time after was 6 Foot, 7 Foot cuz they were tired of the shit from MNE. Aside from those few instances it’s not the same ICP (not necessarily bad either). I’d love to see the ICP of “this is no holds barred, the gloves are off” ICP but those chances are realistically not gonna happen, that’s just the way it is. I’d love to see a follow up to Fuck The World, ya know putting the feds on blast, people who put down the March, or something, ya know, but that won’t happen cuz like they said, they don’t really get that angry about stuff anymore. That’s just the way it is, embrace what you get, instead of what you want and don’t.

I wouldn’t say it’s the country sound, but I can see with the rebel flag and red neck hoe.. I think that’s the best they could make music sound with COC back then. Now a days you got auto tune, maybe icp decided to do at least one song with that shit lol I kinda like “nobodies fault” I’m glad they only used auto tune a little bit and only ONE song.
