On their recent visit to Psychopathic Headquarters, the Detroit News got some MAJOR NEWS BOMBS dropped in their laps, and they probably don’t even realize how fresh it is!
Ever since it has been revealed, there has been speculation as to what the numbers 665 mean. I have seen some pretty good ones (6+6+5 = 17), and some off the wall ones. One of our forum regulars, mikeysinder, posted months ago theorizing that there would be 3 Decks of Joker’s Cards. The first 6, the second (and current) 6, and 5 more in the third deck. That promises 7 more Joker’s Cards in ICP’s legacy. Does that sound like a reach?
The Duke himself, Violent J, just confirmed it! He states:
We did 6 Joker’s Cards. We’re doing another 6 right now. We’re looking at the time table of our life, and we’re going to do the 5th, and the 6th. Then we’re going to do a 3rd deck. But we’re not going to do 6-6-6. We’re gonna stop at 5. There’s the message. The 6 Joker’s Cards are going to end the same each deck. Deck 1, deck 2, and deck 3 are going to end the same: Shangri-La and Hell’s Pit. That’s your choice in life. They’re gonna end with the same message. Each Joker’s card, as you know, is a lesson to look at yourself in another way…”

I was trying to figure 665 out. not a area code near icp hometown. Of course letters alphabet order and phone as in 6 and 5 are 3 possible letters, tried unscramble. Periodic table. Bible for a change 6 verse 65 .

The cover colors remind me of jeckel brothers which should’ve been like missing link but 2 CD release. Jack jeckel cd1 Jake cd2…. They aren’t too old to fit in Album d2c5 and d2C6 deck 2 card 6. Two left 3 if they make two separate albums for light and dark heaven hell….hmm yin yang……. Without light no dark no suffering then no joy not suffering. God devil. Yin and yang could have Asian theme to some beats. Deck 2 or 3. The heaven hell since we had do another cultures afterlife… Or super mecha cyborg Jesus 3000 vs Damien Echoside. I haven’t finished behind the paint audiobook. Does that mention in it as I’ve heard butterfly story. It’s actually kinda touching, young innocence, killed it by accident, had funeral and promised not to catch more. That pure childhood innocence….. That should end the saga either 5 joker cards and the last is just The Butterfly, butterfly to some just dead bug to others. So before J said that each deck would end in a similar fashion to Shangri-La and Hell’s Pit, but wouldn’t be called that because they’ve already came and gone. Which had me confused for a while, because I consider The Missing Link albums to be this decks heaven and hell entity (as they probably are ment to be), and that this deck concluded until they said FFF would be the 4th Joker Card in the 2nd Deck, but now knowing that there will be 2 heaven and hell entities in this deck just befuddles me, unless they tie them in together somehow. Maybe I’m just not thinking of something, and somebody else can help me out. Maybe I’m over thinking. And J never said that the 665 on the knuckles represented the 3 decks, just saying. Not hating.

I remember him saying there would be hellspit/shangrila version of each deck aswell, I still think there will be for the 2nd deck, but the marvelous missing link confused the fuck outta me too because it is very much the heaven and hell formula, we shall see. I reckon it’d be fresh if the Butterfly became a jokers card entity, maybe the 6th of this deck? Or the butterfly could be an entities minion like Flip is.

Speculation is running amuck. The first deck was all about hard lessons for more of the social norm and the path to Shangri-La. The second deck is turning out to be a more personal gut check lesson series. The third deck…and this is really serious wishful thinking…should be a story saga, the final battle between good and evil. No more self reflection…just a 5 album long story of Hell and Heaven converging on the Carnival and war breaking out. Bringing back previous characters/Jokers Cards to be used as soldiers of war against and new crop of cards……or all previous cards pick sides to fight for. Geez…I’m tired. I really could use a Red Bull right now. Hope I’m making sense here.
Breakdown of what i’m sayin:
REAL life:
Phase one…Go to church and learn all you need to know in order to save yourself
Phase two…actually apply those lessons to your life for your gain and salvation
Phase three…End times/Rapture/Final battle between God and Satan
whereas in the
DARK CARNIVAL:
First Deck: Lessons on how to be in Society and learning how to Save your self.
Second deck: Applying those lessons and deciding for yourself.
Third Deck: Shangri-La Vs. Hells pit (Fight), All joker cards are conduits for us and…

But god damn the 4th Joker’s card is amazing so far, don’t you guys agree?
I think we might get a Jokers card if not the absolute final Jokers card will be at the Dark Carnival ground itself!
So who knows if in the next deck we might arrive to the Dark Carnival grounds and see how it all goes together! The Dark Carnival called us for the last time! We would get to travel to the dimension, we will see new characters as old but also new places, but at last we will face the Devil and the creator.
A concept of the last jokers card of the 2nd deck could be somehow about Future/Past theme? How we can learn from the past or be stuck in it!
How can we aim for a great future without being scared to get there.
So this DC spirit will make us travel between future and past to help us find the answers! He is Time or has something to do with it! It all has to do with time!
