KottonMouth Kings / Suburban Noize Reuniting? “Most Wanted Highs” Dropping on United Family Music.

Over the past few weeks, there have been some hints on various social media outlets about a possible reunion between the Kottonmouth Kings and their long-time label: Suburban Noize Records.

There’s a new “Greatest Hits” album called Most Wanted Highs that is surprisingly dropping on United Family Music, which if you’ll remember, is the label that Daddy X started up.  The street date on that is April 12th.  Check the track list for the 2 disc compilation here:

You can pre-order that album here: https://www.amazon.com/Most-Wanted-Highs-Kottonmouth-Kings/dp/B07NBPLRCH/ref=sr_1_2

D-Loc has also been seen reppin’ the Spade lately!  Check out this IG post from a recent show he performed at with the SRH shirt on:

Another unexpected sighting was an Instagram post that seems to have been made by Brad Daddy X.  It ends with “X” on it, so that’s what we’re assuming.  But you tell us what you think.

I don’t know what will come of all of this, or if we’ll get some new KMK flavor possibly with D-Loc, Richter, Saint, and Daddy X?  Hopefully by the time the new Greatest Hits album drops, we’ll have some more answers.  Until then, keep checkin’ back here and we’ll make sure to keep you posted!

Okay, I need to point something out. This would be the 3rd greatest hits compilation from KMK. They last released one in 2015. They’ve released 1 official album since (to my knowledge, that is; the one with just D-Loc and Saint Dog).

This compilation has literally the EXACT same tracklist as the 2015 one, High Standards And Greatest Hits. All they did was slap a different cover on it and put this one in a jewel case and vinyl (as the description on Amazon shows).

Sorry, but this is a huge slap to the fans. KMK is already notorious for reusing tracks from other releases to pad out their own, but all they did was copy & paste their last GH release and put it here.

And why are all of the albums only limited to the Green album- onward? They should let me do a 2 disc best of comp. It’s all I do. Seriously. I’ve made like 350 of them in the last 5 years. HQ 79:30 app. running time CD Compilations of artists. Seriously KmK should let me do one. Royal Highness- Krown Power. 2 songs per album. For Highness- Rollin’ Stoned ( The 1st 5), quite possibly 3. Just sayin’. I have been an absolute loyalist for 17 years and I am not amused or pleased by any of their 3 greatest hits comps. The antithesis of smitten 😑. Total fucking royal letdowns & epic colossal wastes of sweet precious air & time (although the artwork and packaging are fresh, not going to lie!) Rant over now.

I’m guessing the reason the comp is The Green Album onward is because Greatest Highs came out in 2008. It makes sense that The Green Album is the starting point for another compilation, even if it is the same tracklist from 2015.

D-Loc said something about KMK/SNR when he said he was distancing himself from Kingmaker. And Daddy X released this same message (with a few tweaks) back in January 2017, I think it was. People speculated that the whole KMK crew was getting back together, and it turned out to be D-Loc and Saint Dog. Then it was D-Loc, Saint Dog and Johnny Richter. Now it’s just D-Loc and Johnny Richter. So I don’t expect Daddy X, and maybe The Dirtball to return but it’d be dope as hell to see. Also I don’t see it since D-Loc put Daddy X on blast for a lot of shit on his new album Ripperside.

Royal Highness, Hidden Stash, High Society, Hidden Stash II, Rollin’ Stoned & Fire It Up. Oh and DJ Bobby B-99 Rips & Beyond. The rest of the catalog is unnecessary.
