I am calm ya stooge. And actually the demented diva known as Monoxide is on record saying “it is not about music, it’s a movement” funny how he contradicts himself and changes his tone depending on how much shit he’s been talking. My ma ain’t living, but enough about my ma, tell the nasty slut that gave birth to you she gotta learn to swallow more often, ya dig? Haha we got enough douchebags walking around here without you adding to the masses hahaha

(Deep sigh) See Mikey, theres no need for name calling. Sorry about your Mom, ninja. For real.
Many of these “underground” rappers have been on the radio at some point, where do you draw the line of “sucking that mainstream dick”?

Lets forget these instances of ICP disregarding the integrity of their art and own words to get mainstream exposure:

    – “I say what I want, whenever I feel, fuck your big contract record deal” – In order to have their album The Great Milenko released on major label Hollywood records, ICP cut The Neden Game, Under the Moon, and Boogie Woogie from the album. They also completely altered the lyrics to Piggie Pie to appease their major label masters.

    – “Fuck Palooza, big festivals, we never sell out with you bitch ass hoes” – ICP played Woodstock 99, which was the biggest and most mainstream music festival of the 90s.

    – “Finally, the two dim witted idiots decided to stay with the wicked shit for life” taken from the song Radio Stars, which mocks bands trying to change their sound for radio and video play – on the same album ICP releases Lets Go All the Way, a straight up rock song accompanied by a big budget video. ICP also encouraged Juggalos to vote for the video on MTV TRL. This was called Lienda on January 12th 2001, where Violent J asked that all juggalos make request to MTV to play Lets Go All the Way.

    – “And they wanted to know if I would trade ten Juggalos for a hundred main-stream fans. And I said, ‘I wouldn’t trade ten Juggalos for a hundred thousand main-stream fans.’ Ten Juggalos is priceless to me.” – In 2001 ICP’s simultaneously released albums Bizaar and Bizzar were not selling as well as Violent J would like. So he literally asked juggalos to buy both albums and give them to non-juggalos. This is a direct quote from Violent J:

“On the Juggalo day of January 12th, “Ray Day”, your mission is to give to somebody what you have been lucky enough to find… The Dark Carnival. You must cast the magic. The mission is to buy Bizzar and Bizaar and then pass it along on to somebody that you care enough about to share them with. Cast the very spell that was cast on to you.

Listen, by spending money to buy Bizzar and Bizaar just to give them away, not only are you helping the 3 charities, but your helping out the entire fuckin’ cause of the Dark Carnival!”

I sincerely do not think there is a better example of a band selling out their integrity, changing their sound, asking too much of their fans, folding to record labels, blatent hypocrisy, and using any other tactic necessary to gain mainstream success than ICP. The fact that they continue to pretend that they are this counter culture, and their fans still eating it up, is mind boggling.

Those are correct but if it wasn’t for them doing that in the early days they def didn’t have the funds to do it there self’s now. And even being on a major label they did whatever the fuk they wanted to. But after jive and and the money they got , they did there own thing without major label and never have they gone back to one. I guess let’s hope twizrid gets there dreams and go full mainsteam. They prob been playing this years before they left psy

Oh yeah for sure, they knew in order to make it they had to follow icp. Because icp was the only ones sticking up for them. They took advantage of icp. I mean I wouldve, but I wouldve shown the love in return.
Part of me wonders if it was just fake the whole time, don’t people say monoxide always acted like he didn’t wanna be there during vips and shit?

Heath… you need to calm down up there little fella. Besides, the only band worth seeing either day is The Offspring anyway. God, Twiztid sucks balls.
