No they aren’t, klown. Most of them come from the hardcore scene with Ghostemane also coming from the black metal scene with his hip hop influence coming far more from old Memphis horrorcore rather than juggalo music.

ICP PAVED THE WAY FOR THESE “INDEPENDENT” “HORROR” MEGA ARTISTS FOOL.

WHETHER THEY ADMIT IT OR NOT. EVEN MAINSTREAM CRITICS ARE NOW RECOGNIZING ICP

AS THE PREDECESSORS TO THE MODERN HORROR TRAP SENSATION!

I think youre both right and wrong.
I think a lot of these trap horror artists are getting a metal influence with their shit. But why is it all of a sudden acceptable and cool when Juggalos were getting shamed for it long before? I also think success of ICP had a touch of motivation for some, but not all.
Whats more annoying tho is that i see kids with the stereotypical Juggalo style walking down the street, but arent about that life. Im talking colored murder braids and dark clothes with peircings kind of stereotype. Turns out they are more scared of Juggalos than anything. They like Lil Pump. Whatever. That day was odd for me. Too much

Because ‘juggalo’ style actually borrowed very heavily from numetal. Other than clown paint and merch there really is no unique aesthetic to juggalos. A lot of those styles were brought in by Twiztid who were undoubtedly just dressing like 90s industrial goth and numetal bands.

Juggalos were never shamed over their metal influence. They were shamed for the goofy dumb lyrics, corny voices and juvenile subject matter. While artists like Ghostemane draw far more from goth and black metal drawing more nihilistic and occult references over penis jokes. Even then, he’s caught shit for the same reasons. See Fantano’s review of N/O/I/S/E/ where he calls his vocals ‘hokey’ and says he’d rather listen to Great Milenko.

True that Twiztid did have that influence upon Juggalo culture. I’m honestly not sure if Numetal came before or after Twiztid’s break in but I wouldnt be so suprised either. I always came to associate the dreads and dark clothes to Twiztid and Juggalo shit growing up, but thats honestly what got me into Indutrial goth, Symphonic metal and Punk Rock, too.
About that second paragraph, yeah that is part of it. I also think to add is the make up and people dying within their lyrics were too offensive for most rap outlets. Maybe other rappers could do the same thing but ICP had a unique agenda, and influenced poor and socially adept kids like myself at the time, to make it cool to be different.
I saw the link, didnt know you can direct it to the exact time mark on the video.

They wanted to make some positive music for the juggalos to enjoy, pretty fucking obvious, if they were doing non stop wicked shit I bet all these same pussies would be complaining about something else.

Balance is good. But not over saturation.
They have kids too, I think being able to be a parent now and not struggle financially has had a role in what music they choose to make.

Yeah, Numetal predates Twiztid by a decade. Korn being that first example. Of course you have Zombie, Manson, NIN and a few others that obviously influenced their sound and look. Which all basically draws from Bauhaus, Xmal Deutschland, Throbbing Gristle and other older gothic acts.
