A New York Hip-Hop Legend! Notorious B.I.G.’s Childhood Street Officially Renamed In His Honor!

We know Juggalos are down with that hard hitting 1990’s classic east-coast hip-hop sound. We here at Faygoluvers.net have some fresh news! The Brooklyn, New York street “St. James Place” in Bedford-Stuyvesant that the legendary Notorious B.I.G. (RIP) grew up on will indeed be renamed into his full birth name, embedded with his artist name, directly in his honor! Hundreds upon hundreds stood in the pouring down cold rain as the sign was being changed.

From Fox 32 Chicago:

“NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) – A street in Brooklyn was renamed for the late great rapper Christopher Wallace, better known as Notorious B.I.G. The corner of St. James Place and Fulton Street is now Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Way.

The slain rapper’s family was in attendance, including singer Faith Evans who was once married to Biggie, as he was also called.

Notorious B.I.G. grew up on St. James Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Biggie, who created the mega-hits “It Was All a Dream,” “Mo Money Mo Problems” and “Hypnotize” with its catchy riff “sicker than your average,” was only 24 when he was killed while stopped at a red light in Los Angeles. He was it four times in a drive-by shooting.

His murder remains unsolved.”

Incredible!
