A lot of Juggalos are old-school but there are definitely more than a few that are newer to this culture and have no clue what the “Stoned in the Cemetery” tour was, so here’s a quick history lesson:
Back in March of 2001, Twiztid and the Kottonmouth Kings announced they would be heading out on the “Stoned in the Cemetery” Tour at the end of the month. The Kottonmouth Kings would be headling the tour on the west coast while Twiztid would headline the tour on the east coast.
Both Psychopathic Records artist Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Suburban Noize Records band Corporate Avenger would be opening on all dates.
It seems like a tour a lot of ninjas would love to see today.
There are conflicting sources as to what happened and why, but business is business and the tour was canceled last minute! It was never rebooked and mentioned very little, and then not at all by the Demented Duo and KMK.
Later on, because of some other bullshit, Twiztid did mention that they had no plans of ever working with the Kottonmouth Kings again. They have in the past and are now because more than 18 years later they’ve announced a “Stoned in the Cemetery” show happening with the Kottonmouth Kings!
Whatever issues were going on have been put aside and that’s what we love to see! That’s that family shit!
This bomb-ass show is happening at Pop’s Concert Venue in Sauget, Illinois on Saturday, November 2nd! Doors open at 6:00pm and this is an all-ages show. Tickets will be going on sale at Pop’s Box Office and TicketWeb on Friday, August 16th.
$25 for a ticket or $30 at the door. A 4 Pack of General Admission Tickets is going for $80 and a Front Row Reserved Balcony Seat is $45.
I don’t know about you ninjas but I’m stoked as fuck to these two coming together to rock this stage! I wouldn’t want to get stoned in a cemetery (depending – what ya got, and what time of day is it?) but I wouldn’t want to miss out on this show, ninjas!
