Allen Hale Thanks Juggalos for Support after Critical Injury

Alright Juggalos, with this being Thanksgiving weekend, I wanted to share a story of thanks that just landed in my inbox this week.  I’m not sure if you remember, but around 9 months ago, we posted a story about a Juggalo named Allen Hale that was involved in a rollover car accident with his children. They suffered minor scrapes and bruises, but Allen wasn’t as fortunate.  You can see the full story here:

Afterwords, our post apparently affected him more than we could have ever thought.  Juggalos and Juggalettes read the story, responded with comments and emails to him, and it did more for him than you could ever know.

Check the email that we received below.

From Allen Hale:

Sorry it’s taken so long to write to you.  My homie Jason hit up Scottie D and told him about my getting into an accident in February.  It was a horrific rolling accident. My two oldest sons and I were in the vehicle.  Kids walked away with scrapes and bruises, I unfortunately wasn’t that lucky.  I suffered 2 fractured vertebrae in my neck, a ruptured disc in my neck, damaged optic nerves, a shattered thumb, and 2 weeks after the accident I was diagnosed with bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms (blood clots) in my lungs and a massive one in the lower left leg.

Fast forward: My homie got with Scottie D and a ninja had his heart filled with love, fam. Scottie put up an article on my behalf asking for love for me and my kids. It got me y’all.  Ninjas reached out to me giving love.  It’s been a long and slow road, but I’m getting back to semi normal health. I’m alive to take care of my 4 beautiful sons.  Sorry for the long email. Just wanted to let you know, y’all make a ninja feel the love 100.

Your Homie,

Allen “Stumpy” Hale Jr

So if you are one of the ninjas who either donated or wrote to Allen during his time of recovery, then thank you!  He is just about healed up, and is grateful for those of you who took the time to show him that you care.
